Her autobiography "Ecstasy and Me" spurred a rush of similar books by actresses in the 50's. Patrick Dennis, the author of "Auntie Mame", wrote a spoof called "Little Me", the autobiography of Belle Poitrine. He had tons of staged photographs using his friends as characters in her life. I bought a vintage copy off eBay years ago, and was grilled a bit by the seller who wanted to make sure I knew its worth :-)
