Washington St between Charles and W 11th St was lined with open trucks...big 18 wheelers...at night men came from all over NYC to have sex in the trucks...outside of the trucks....up and own the street..It was a free for all every night but extremely crowded on the weekends....I met so many guys that were str8..bi...try anything,...married men would hang out for sex ..this was a huge scene in the mid 1970's...surrounded by bars..restaurants...a great big fun zone..The cops would come down the street...shine their lights and leave...

My fam came from Carmine St, when I was very young my grandparents still lived there and I remember an older cousin in their kitchen who was a cop there in the W10 St station talking about the trailer trucks parked under (it was still standing then) the elevated W Side Highway and how they were always having to (his words) chase the queers out from there. I remember being VERY intrigued lol even thou I was only in grade school, and confused bc he used some word I didn't understand for the big long trailer sections they hauled and how the queers would break into them to have sex etc. *The Post Stonewall - Pre Health Crisis years musta' been swingin ones lol!

I've always been attracted to uber-masculine alpha-type males. It usually (but not exclusively) means they are str8 if I find them attractive. Twice in gay bars, I was propositioned by gay4pay ex-cons who had just been released.

 

Once was in a dive stripper bar in the late 80's/early 90's near the NYC Port Authority (not Stella's or Cats.....much more sleazy than those). He was one of the strippers and he told me he had just been released from prison that morning or the day before. At the time, I remember thinking that I thought it was not a good strategy for him to tell potential clients that he just got out of prison. He was not that hot looking....so I declined.

 

The second one was in a hustler/drag bar in Houston called Cousins (now has a different name). It was around 2008 and a very attractive/muscled Louisianan in his late 20's approach me and asked if wanted to have fun. He added that he had just been released from the penitentiary that week. He was definitely hot looking but I chickened out. I kept thinking about those stories you hear of ex-cons killing someone within 1-2 weeks of getting released from prison.

 

There's tons of latino day labor guys in Houston hanging out at all the Home Depots as well as other locations. Lot's of opportunity there but always with the associated risk as well. It helps a lot if you speak some Spanish.

In the late 80s I used to rent a room at the downtown San Diego Y on the occassional weekend. This was back before the city redeveloped the area into what it is today. Back then it was still pretty run down. However the communal showers on the upper floors of the Y were always full of military guys wanting to get off base for the weekend and "get off".

 

Im pretty sure Uncle bobby g took great care of them.

Even in the 80s guys were having sex in the streets next to and behind The Eagle and The Spyke -- naked on Leashes - Sunday Afternoon Drinking and Getting pissed on while being fucked in the street while guys watched/waited there turn - stroking while waiting - guys tied t0 trucks and single-tailed-flogged , fisted while the Cop just drove by
