Live performance from Thanksgiving Eve 1957 on NBC in Bluray with Mary Martin and John Raitt.

 

Worth it to see Martin and Raitt at the peak of their careers. Much better than any of the recent live TV show versions of Broadway classics. Mary Martin played Annie on the road in the 1940s while Merman played Broadway.

Mary and John did "Annie" on the west coast first before this live telecast, so they were prepared in a way that recent performers, who have not had that opportunity.
