just curious to know if others are like me or if I’m crazy. I may find an amazing massage experience, but I’m more likely to be on the search for the unknown. I guess the thrill of the unknown overrides the known good experience. In some occasions when I’ve hit a dry spell I’ll return to a known performer, but most of the time I like to see a new spa, a different masseur, in hopes that I’ll experience something unique or different.

I am somewhere in the middle. If the session was amazing, I will return. However, if an equally interesting newbie or visitor pops up in my area, I may give them the edge over the repeat.

I definitely relate. I have a few guys who I consider regulars, but most of them are travelers and I have the chance to see them not very often. When I find a local guy I like, I will repeat a few times but soon someone new becomes more tempting.

It is one of the many reasons my LTR were never long, until I reconcile myself wth the fact that I am a slut not suit to anything other than promiscuity.

For me its in what mood I am in when looking for a masseur. Am I looking for a new thrill that I haven't tried yet or am I looking for a nice, comforting familiarity. Usually its a new thrill cause in DC, there is so many traveling masseurs compared to a the few good ones that stick around in DC.

I am the complete opposite. I love to have a go-to masseur which right now I do. It may lack the excitement or anticipation but it more than makes up for it when you get a good massage and get things sorted out. I do try out a new masseur when I travel or there's a hot one visiting. I have gotten too many bad/unsatisfactory massages from random strangers that now I am very apprehensive of wasting both my time and money.

I find exploring and finding new masseurs to always be a thrill. Going into the session not knowing what will happen and the thrill of watching the masseur get hard (sometimes) and getting to see a new guy nude is something that never gets old for me. I do have a few I see on the regular but more for the therapeutic aspect as it’s kind of that “been there, seen that” type of thing for me.

When I'm looking through ads for a masseur, I tend to pass over the ones who are visiting. If I get into the massage and the masseur, I want to be able to easily make another appointment... and frequently.

 

That being said, the first session or two with a masseur is always exciting... and new. But I don't mind "recyling" either

I have 2 local guys and 2 guys in Vegas that I go to for massage. Not that I WON'T see others....but I rarely ever do.

 

In my book it requires more skills and is far more intimate than an escort encounter. Like I said....funny.

I have one go-to masseur but lately I’ve been like you. I’ve been trying to explore more to see if there’s a gem out there. I only have one advise for you. It’s your money so use it wisely. The previous ones you tried will always be there should you decide to go back. So why not try other fish? I like to try new ones but now and then I’d miss my go-to guy so I call him up.

I’m a total loyalist. Maybe I’m cheap but going to a stranger and being disappointed frustrates me because I feel like I wasted my money. If I like a masseur we’ll stay connected for the long term. The “hunt” for me is exhausting. Also when I find someone I like I reward him by tipping large. I also make it clear that I’m seeking a massage first. It is okay to skip the extras if the mood isn’t right. For me it has fostered some great relationships and good friendships.
