AOG thanks for sharing that! imho from your description above your friend is still a bisexed heterosexual. not a bad thing at all, actually terrific! if he would have had stories of "when i was a young man i couldnt stop having a crush on a guy in gym class, i was so jealous when my crush asked a girl to the prom etc and sex wasnt involved just emotions, then he might be more inclined to be bisexual (feelings over sexual acts). your friends love of the sexual freedom and being desired by both sexes is awesome! he is a free thinker and free emotional player. my guess is he allowed himself to be sexually active with men because he never labeled himself as bisexual or "am i really gay". he was confident in his heterosexuality (he fell in love with a woman) yet wanted the freedom and sexual excitement to be with whomever he wanted to be with.

 

his son would be more along the lines of a bisexed bisexual. a unicorn imho. nowadays they coin this "pan sexual". i will have sex with and love whomever i want to. why the new terminology? its just being bisexual. unless they fall in love with a bicycle...then they need help.

 

so to me there is heterosexed/heterosexual, bisexed/bisexual and homosexed/homosexual. former is the act, latter is the innate emotions attached to the being. these can and are often intermingled. we all know of the 60 year old man that has a wife and kids. he finally at some point divorces the wife and starts to be his "true self". did he have sex with only women in his life? does he feel he truly needs to fall in love and live the rest of his life with a man? if so he would be a heterosexed/homosexual. we see them waiving the flags at tea parties all the time! lol and remember that just the functionality of the sexual act in itself if there is an external motivation "money, a new car etc" can also play into this equation. there is something other than a "hind brain" motivation at work. this is just a fully functioning hetero or homo sexual without the sex label involved. "fuck that woman for $1000" would fit this scenario. most male escorts and "straight" porn stars also come to mind.

I used to think bisexual was a farce, basically someone hiding from their true identity. But, I have met (through this hobby and otherwise) that there really is such a thing. I can't identify with it, b/c I am hard wired one way and one way only. Some Bisex have a strong physicial attraction to both sexes but predominantly have emotional connections with one sex. Others are more fluid - can swing either way on either score "depends on the person" and where they are ATM. For the purposes of this hobby, who cares? We're in it for the experience not a relationship. In any case, not our place to judge, let's try to understand that there are all kinds of ppl in the world and not everyone is just like us.

JEC you are right. I think what causes so much frustration in our community towards sexuality is the lack of understanding that there are parameters and definitions out in society. We all know of the gay that says "oh... he got a blow job from a guy once. See.... he really is gay. I knew it!". WRONG! it's been discussed like that on this board numerous times. And you can tell the gay is irritated by others when they dispute that allegation. If we allow ourselves to understand definitions it also helps us understand our own basic limitations we have and should have within others definitions. THEE #1 complaint I have heard over and over from straight guys (escorts, friends, etc) is gays that have no respect for the straight guys boundaries. "I enjoyed myself out at the gay bar with you last night but damn some of those gays were so aggressive towards me and felt they could grab me and just do or say whatever they wanted with me. When I said I was straight they said "yeah right" and rolled their eyes".
