I recently started planning to travel to a few different cities and see what business I can get outside of Atlanta. Would any of the traveling guys here on the forum have any advice on increasing my business prospects while in a different city?

I'm not an escort, but I recommend noting on your Rentmen page several weeks before going to a city that you'll be visiting. That give us clients plenty of time to plan ahead for your arrival. I had a favorite arrive here with little notice and my limited escort fund was already depleted.

"Canvass" the city for a long time, collect emails and cellphones, book in advance your airfare (prices 99% of the time go up), stick to one airline (Delta I guess because you're from Atlanta), book a hotel on hotels.com or any other site where you can cancel it 24 hours before arriving if you get lucky and get a better deal bidding on priceline. You should also consider sticking to one hotel chain but only if you think you'll be able to reach 50 nights per year in order to get good benefits. If you mostly care about prices stick to priceline.

One more thing.. if possible get an anchor client committed to having an overnight with you and who paid you a booking fee or helped you with your airfare just to make sure the trip is good.

Be prepared to email/text folks and find out once you get there that: they got sick, fell in love, got into a car accident, had a death in the family, or they just go silent despite having texted/emailed your ass off about how much they look forward to meeting you.

Make sure to enjoy the city, and do some tourism but always walking with lubricant and condoms ready to get a call whenever it happens.

Please call me and I'll give you all the advice you'd like to hear. As a quick few tips:

1. Buy Airfare as soon as possible

2. Book hotels ASAP (Prepay or flexible rate)

3. Place travel dates in body of your description

4. Advertise travel city on your RM Ad

5. Reach out to prospective clients that have already shown interest from said city (These are people that say "When are you coming to ___ city?")

6. Honor any pre booked appointments (Don't pull out of a trip only because your Pre bookings are low) That is a great way to build a bad reputation..

7. Stick to well populated cities. Smaller are ok if you already have some interest from clients that'll book.

8. Watch expenses. Some cities just might not work for you since expenses are high

9. Research your hotel location. Is there parking nearby? Is a subway or bus stop close? Is parking Expensive? Valet?

10. Stick with a chain you like. I use SPG and love my Platinum benefits.

11. Just like 10, use an airline and build loyalty.

11.5 Having air/hotel loyalty helps tremendously. I'm treated very well everywhere I go, fees are non existent, and upgrades are plentiful.

Again, any clarification.. just call. I keep a very busy travel schedule and I hope to be a resource if need be.

Excellent advice & tips!! I agree with all of this and any new escort could apply this as an outline to starting their business, with regards to traveling.
