Just curious if anyone has actually met any of them. They have all been on Manhattan bp for some time now with pretty much the same profiles. Somewhat surprising especially since bp now takes down old posts much more quickly than they used to.

The pictures used in the ad for the 3rd link is of a male model. There is also a rentmen ad using pics of the same model. There was some discussion about it on the forum a while back.

Not that the model isn't escorting, but all the pics can be found/taken from his instagram page. I would take it with a grain of salt that the ad is real. Make sure you can get a facetime meet up or meet up in a public place before you commit to anything.

If it turns out the model guy is escorting... I think I'm going to be broke for at least a year. LOL!!!

The FB link he posts in the backpage ad does say JT which is the same initials as the model you post the link to.....?

Those social media links in Backpage ads seem to be system generated. It seems as if Backpage has recently started to require or impose these links in all the "personal" ads, and most of them are dead links or links that have nothing to do with the person creating the ad.

Interesting to know, the model in question gives Bronx as his location, which ties in with the backpage ad.......

Again it could be a possibility the model guy in the link three is indeed escorting. I'm no where near New York right now, but if I made an attempt I'd either try to facetime, ask for a pic to prove it's him, or I'd meet publicly. Just because the basic location info seems to synch up, still doesn't guarantee it's the same guy. For one thing, there is a height discrepancy between the the backpage ad and the model's actual height. Another thing I'm wary about is the use of professional only shots that can be grabbed from the web... in this case the model's instagram.

Proceed with caution.

Avoid him. He had an ad in Rentboy before with same pic under Fantasy man. Not at all like the pic and tried to scare me into paying when I refused to proceed with the meeting. He was in Brooklyn back then. I remember those pics too well because of that scary incident.

Not only did these photos previously appear on rentboy (as noted by the poster above) and on rentboy (before it disappeared) the photos appeared on rentmen and backpage between Los Angeles and New York for at least five years.

The person or multiple persons placing the ads with the stolen photos is (are) a fake. I personally had an encounter a couple of years ago with one of the "escorts" who used these famous photos for a bogus ad he placed.

Be careful, these guys are highly skilled in intimidation. When you meet and see that the person who answers the door is not the person in the photos, things can get dicey.

...not familiar with any of the guys about whom you inquire, but I, myself, am rather leary of many of the ads and photos that are posted on www.backpage.com.

Many of the guys who publish in the San Francisco Bay area are hot and hung, but I'm afraid if I hire that I'd get "burned" and not reap the benefits of the stated service.

Perhaps I might acquiesce in 2018 and "take the plunge" with hopes for great satisfaction! :) :p :)

I messaged the 3rd guy on Instagram asking if it was him and he said it definitely isn’t him and someone is using his pictures

Did you inform him that he has a lot of fans on this forum? (In case he's considering a career change) ;)

But seriously now did you ask (did he imply) if he does - that - for money?

Never use Backpage EVER. It's all police stings and extortionists.

The one time I ever used it to meet an allegedly hot Italian muscle guy ("in town visiting for just a few days" - that's a big clue.....) I went to the hotel and a cracked out black trannie answered the door and tried to get me to pay her so she wouldn't "expose" me.

Needless to say I didn't give her anything....but it was a pretty scary experience.

Now I always use a cheap prepaid phone that isn't tied to my name when contacting escorts or massage guys. It doubles as an emergency 2nd phone/hotspot when I travel so it's worth it anyway!

Just Google "Backpage Scams" and see the hundreds of articles that pop up.

[backpage is] all police stings and extortionists.

As much as I love to read most of the ads on BP for a laugh, this is just flat out not true. If you read a few threads here, you'll see there are some scammers on all the sites. Due diligence is recommended for meeting unknown people, no matter where one sees the ad.

You can go to a drugstore or place like Best Buy and get a no-contract shitty ass phone and buy a bloc of minutes with cash. You can use that phone or just take the SIM card and put in a nicer device you buy online or an older device you already have (assuming it's unlocked).

If you use a phone with Verizon, AT&T etc anyone with easily available caller ID App can see your real name. That obviously is not ideal for many guys who hire.
