I have always wanted to hire him because of his stellar reviews and i find the over muscled scruff look boring and the clean shaven WASP hard to find. So when I read his last review I was surprised to see he got a NO under rehire. He has always gotten stellar reviews. Maybe he was having a bad day?

Here are some possibilities. Alain has been in this business for several years--if he really is straight (I have no opinion) he may be tired of all the gay sex and gay fantasies. Also, my experience with him has not been encouraging. Last year, I was in Philly and set up an appointment with him, gave him my hotel room, etc. When I texted him to prompt him that I'd be ready to go at the hour we had agreed, he texted a cancellation.

 

This year, I thought I'd give it another try. I sent him the same fantasy we had discussed last year--and he sent me a moderately surly reply, like "Sure if you wanna do that, I'll punch you in the face." Was that a joke? I didn't want to find out, and we agreed that after all he was not a match.

 

So I'd proceed with caution. Has he lost some of his edge? Patience?

Maybe he finished paying off his student loans. I am sure he has worked hard and has enough repeat business to pick and choose his clients. I say good for him he earned it.

I mean, is it really that surprising that one client didn't have a good time with an escort? Or that a well reviewed escort has a bad day? It happens all the time in every single industry. The client and Alain didn't click so he didn't have a good time, but he has a good reputation and well reviewed. Some people just don't click. It's not a big issue unless the client felt threatened or Alain did something really shady or vice versa.

While I don’t refute the OP’s comments, I’m not sure what to make of them. Over the course of two years, Alain has always been above-board dependable, punctual, accommodating, true to what he advertises and agrees to do, looks just like his photos, and is unfailingly friendly and personable. Somehow I feel that it’s not just with me.

There is nothing to make. I was reading a client's second review of him. I just thought it was an unusual comment for a second hire. Im hiring him next time i am in town anyway regardless. So chillax.

My only experience with Alain was about 2 years ago. We messaged back and forth for a few weeks. I told him what I was looking for. He agreed.

 

I made plans to go to Phildadelphia. Took time off work. Reserved a hotel.

 

Then the Sunday before I left, he messages me and says he doesn't want to meet because we'll be in his hometown.

 

So at the last minute, all my plans were ruined. I'm just lucky the hotel reservations were able to be cancelled.

I’ve been a regular of Alain’s for several years. He has always been upfront, friendly, engaging and sexy with me. Yes, he is straight but that doesn’t inhibit any of our sessions. I'm not saying every client is sweetness and light or even a good person. I always tried to treat escorts as I would like to be treated. I might have been a bit demanding sometimes sexually, but I was the customer. I don't think I ever demanded to the detriment of the escort. And most of the escorts I hired seemed willing to meet with me again. So I apparently was not abhorrent to them. That all being said, I think sometimes people here bend over backwards to be in the escort's favor. The original purpose of the review site and the the Forum were to be pro clients. If escorting has allowed Alain to pay off his loans, that's great. But the fact his loans might be paid off shouldn't allow him to be rude to people (unless they are rude to him first of course). If we non escort members of the Forum are not for each other, then who will be for us?

I've also hired Alain twice over the past year, and I really enjoyed both sessions. He is straight, but he was really engaged and I got what I wanted (granted, I'm very vanilla). He does have a good set up: a room for sessions away from his house the Broad St address he mentions in his ad. I was surprised at the review as it didn't match my experience. I'd be hiring him again if I were going back to Philadelphia.

BTW, this is old stuff but I met up with Alain two times in Spring of 2013 when he was coming to NYC quite often. Then he stopped coming at all and we lost touch. He was a lot of fun, looked great, was very nice and very sexy.
