Kevin Slater appears to always defend actions of escorts and if I was an escort I would probably do this also. Still, it irritates me when an escort puts "ask me" on anything. I agree with Avalon. Why not just be upfront with this information.

I always see “ask me” as a marketing ploy. Car dealers like to do the same thing; they want you to come in and talk about it knowing that you are more likely to buy once you are in the dealership. I think the same thing works here, by the time you make contact and discuss these issues you are already invested in hiring this guy. It doesn’t put me off but I am prone to contact escorts with more info in their profiles. Just makes it easier.

 

I might be lazy but this should be fun. Too much work on my part decreases the fun. I’m paying, it’s up to the escort to make the process simpler if they want my business.

I imagine the psychology of it is allowing viewers of the ad who are looking for a str8 guy plying trade to think they're getting that and the viewers who want a solid gay to think they're getting that. It sounds like the majority of ya'll just find it confusing but I imagine thats the motivation.
