Wanting to see what the consensus is on it. I used to advertise there some years ago, and been considering readvertising there. However, looking at the fees, minimum is $100/mo upwards to $300. There seems to be quite a few ads up in certain cities, but generally the massage rates are going between $75 to $140.

Part of me wants to go back to it, but having done the massage thing...I personally rather have it as part of my escort rate rather than have it specifically advertised at that price. Seems like the lower rates do bring more people in, but then people either expect you to have a table (which for me would be an extra thing to lug around during traveling) or somehow it turns into something more than massage...but not at the going rate.

This isn't to knock anyone's operation, but I don't see how people do it other than being strictly massage related and turning down any sexual advances, or constantly having to upsell during the session for other services. Of course I know some do genuine massage only, and nothing wrong with that.

I want to say I'd like to try it a little while and see...but being it can take a couple or few weeks to get noticed and booked, I'm not sure it would be worth trying to experiment with considering the advertising costs on escort sites being less.

People don't go on the masseurfinder site looking for therapeutic only. They could get that for $80 anywhere. I wouldn't say they're looking for an escort experience, but definitely something sensual.

That's only partially true.

I know several people, myself included, that prefer getting a massage from a man. Most brick and mortar places are not designed to handle that type of request.

And if you want someone to come to you, you often have to use the classified in the local rags.

So, MF has its uses.

I agree with you. However, to @Mocha 's point, if massage is part of an escort's repertoire and not something he does on a stand-alone basis for a lower rate, I don't advertising on masseurfinder is a good idea. Mocha never strikes me as someone who wants to mislead his clients and advertising on a massage site while charging an escort rate seems to be misleading. And if he charges a massage rate for what turns into an escort session, he will feel as if his escort services are being devalued (which they would be). Neither is a good outcome.

If your business model is like @Rod Hagen 's (one rate for massage, a different one for escort, and a combo rate) then that would work. If your business model is not like that, it is likely not to work.

It can definitely be a challenging decision. Masseur finder seems to be up there with Rentmen on their site design and is well laid out. There also seems to be a decent amount of guys listed as well.

I have done, and actually still do Rod Hagens model of separate massage/escort session..but that can have its own caveats, though lately I've began doing it more.

I am finding though, fewer and fewer people seem to want the massage only. But it could be because I'm just not advertising it at the $60/$80 I once did, or what's seen on massage sites.

masseurfinder is not the place. Lower rate massage is a waste of time. Imagine being booked for 140$ massage, but then you have someone trying to book you as an escort for 300-400/hr.. you just lost over half what you potentially could have made. Have you tried Men4RentNow? There is lots of massage on there as well as escort work. I even have had people try and book a massage for their girlfriend from me. I include it in my escort rate. Per usual -- the donation is for time only, so if all they want is a massage for the hour that is fine with me!

That's the caveat lol. One could end up doing the massage instead of the higher up session.

I actually just put a m4rn ad back up the other day. Platinum. I haven't been on there in over a month. When they said no escort ads allowed...that just turned me away. But, I know people still use it...and the appointments tend to be more firm than the Rentmen ones. However, men4rent is just not progressive enough. They've not changed their website since 2000 something. But their advertising rates have increased by $20-50. Platinum trial used to be only be $29. Now it's $49 for just 10 days. I only like to use platinum every once in awhile while on a tour.

However, part of the reason for wanting to go back into the massage rates is to reach some of the others who may not be able to do the full on escort session. Or sometimes just to fill in lulls in scheduling. $300/400 sessions don't come by everyday, in those mean times I feel if someone only has $150 or whatever just for a massage and HJ, to just take it when it's reasonable.

They say no escort ads allowed ONLY because we are in a more conservative era and they want to prevent a shut down. They sent out an email to all members on the site some time ago about how content will become more strict on the site due to political matters. They don't really want to turn away escorts, infact, most of the boys and work on there is escort work.. it just can't appear that way (if that makes sense). The site is very dated which is why I don't pay for anything but the basic membership on there.. not too many boys use it in my city tho so I don't find a higher level membership necessary on that site. I agree that the appointments can be more firm. I have created a strict cancellation or no call no show policy for all clients and it seems to be doing well and making my clients more serious on all sites I use. Also, backpage has a lot of massage work. I've honestly sold 400$ massage w HJ off BP believe it or not.. I've met a lot of high end clients on there that will pay 500+ for a full service session. You just have to screen them and decline a lot of lower end appointments you are unwilling to do. I get lots of massage work on there as well, the lowest I have done massage only for is 200 on BP. Post in the dating section. (:

Depends what you are looking for. I used to advertise on Massuerfinder but no longer.

When it was kept in the parameters of a sensual massage, everyone was happy. It's when clients feel too comfortable and feel/think they can cross a line without having to compensate for the additional services or asking me beforehand and clarifying the situation. I have stopped sessions or asked them to stop and it does ruin the mood on the appointment and creates awkwardness.

I don't know for every client however in the past i've had clients who say they saw me on both massuerfinder or rentmen. They book me for a massage appointment and try to turn the session into an escorting appointment on a massage rate. A bit off putting and disrespectful and I get the feeling many clients who look on massuerfinder also look on rentmen.

You could advertise on there and build up a steady cliental then remove yourself off that site once you are happy with the amount of cliental you have.

If the potential maneuvering seems a bit much I would pass on massuerfinder.

When I go for a massage, I want a masseur who will work nude, give a good therapeutic massage, is NOT afraid of my groin&genitals and will include sensual components, naturally, throughout the massage.

I want a masseur who is comfortable with the male body and not worried if he leans in during the massage and his penis brushes, rubs or pokes me -- At the end, because it is all energy, I do need to ejaculate and prefer that be accomplished as a natural part of the finale and not as an "okay, now I have to jerk you off".

Anything beyond that is just frosting on the cake - If the Masseur desires to be touched and to cum, I will of course assist -- That is a bonus.

I do not go for a massage seeking to grope and get a low priced sex session -- I go for MY body's needs and my body needs good professional massages w/ ejacuation.
