Just tell me when you're available

Not a TON of hiring experience. A handful of times scattered over several years, so not always confident on protocol.

 

I never want just an escort - as in, horny now and and see who's available. I see a specific guy, and decide that it's him I want to hire. So I'm willing to be pretty flexible. When a guy is difficult to book, is it ever appropriate to just say - "tell me when you're available and I will accommodate your schedule?" Or does that sound too desperate?

Sounds like a good strategy to me. From my perspective, it can be convenient to have a client "on deck" that is flexible on time. Other providers prefer the messages to be very minimal and it may not work for everyone. Ask. They might say No, but they COULD say Yes.

I generally book quite far out - sometimes even a few months if i want to see someone specific. Usually it is a traveler, so I generally tell him that I will see him when he comes to town - just give me notice to arrange my schedule.

For someone in town, it is usually a few weeks out and simply go back and forth to coordinate. My interest is always made obvious up front so it is simply necessary to meet when we are both available.

Some guys don't seem to realize that a dick in hand is worth 2 . . .

My appts are always with the understanding that if he needs to change I won't be pissed because something came up (I have never cancelled nor have I been cancelled on in those circumstances.)

Whenever my own scheduling permits, I often offer an escort a couple / few different choices that can work for me & tell the escort to pick among those date & time choices whichever is best for him.....after hearing back from him, I'll confirm back that we have a hot date.

I also let them know I'm retired and my schedule is extremely flexible. I do this because I don't know what appointments they've already scheduled and figure they can tell me what works best for them.

 

You wouldn't believe how many times the provider replies with "When would you like to schedule?" It's like they read the text or email I wrote.

Happens all the time that my potential escort doesn't read my text. Often it means I give up on them, I mean, the body matters most, but if the mind can't follow a simple conversation, I loose sexual interest in the guy.

Actually, this is a perfectly sensible reply from them. They may have lots of open time, but it might close before you reply. Also, absent some specific s from you they might consider this a potentially non-serious request. A serious customer for just about any good or service sounds like they know what they want.

Why don't you let the escort know when you are available instead? That way he can reply to a specific request for his time.

 

By asking an open ended "let me know when you are available" you are creating a scenario for lots of back and forth. If he says "Thursday at 2:00 PM" and you reply that time doesn't work for your schedule then the situation becomes a never ending exchange of messages frustrating both parties. Clients can quickly get labeled a time waster resulting in the escort no longer replying to messages.

 

I always provide the "Provider" with at least two date and time options in my initial contact. "Are you available on X date at X time or Y date at Y time?" This gives the impression you are serious about booking his time. He can choose what works for him or, if his schedule is full, he can propose and alternate. This is a lot better than asking an open ended question.

I like this strategy as well. I usually propose a single time and then define a time window that would work if they need to suggest an alternative time. I suspect the 'when are you available' question could be interpreted as fishing to see how 'busy' the guy is...

Same here. Flexible but not completely open-ended. I have found it gets the best yes or no kind of response.
