How many times do you think a client has killed a relative to get out of a session?

I'm getting tired of this shit, people are just getting crazier and crazier by the day. I just don't know what's wrong with people. I can't do this no more, I can't.

I've had now atleast maybe 4 or 5 clients come up with an excuse to cancel due to a family member getting sick. I've heard it all. Sister. Aunt. Mother. Dad. Now, in some of those cases I can believe them. But, to put them all together it seems very fishy and seems to always come after having not seen the person for awhile. One guy paid me 300 deposit for our overnight, but had a relative get sick and needed to reschedule. I believe him because he's already rescheduled.

Another guy in a different area (a regular I've seen 3 times) just today pops up and tells me he's had a family emergency. This is after I ask him to confirm regarding our session this week. It seems like they may genuinely have these family issues on going, but they use them in conjunction with wanting to say "no" to give it more clout.

I've just lost out on way too much money because of people making up excuses and cancelling and honestly I don't know how much more I can handle this. Unless everyone is getting sick and dropping like flies, people just being very uncommital and flaky and just not dependable.

It's an occupational hazard. Clients will always cancel. The hope for us, is the client will give us enough time in advance to sort out our schedule. Whether or not you think they are lying doesn't matter. You're a provider which means customer service is the name of the game. You thank them for the notice and move on. Good luck out there!

Can you shed more light on "Losing way too much money"? Does that mean hotel stays? Airfare? Those should be an expense regardless of how full/empty your schedule may be. An easy fix would be to book refundable hotel stays. Also, prebooking in the city you're in will soften the blow. Say you book 3 in a day and 1 cancels. You're still making $ with the 2 given they cover all expenses.

What about the guy who kills his relatives to get out of sessions? Those show promise of being fascinating tales.

Thanks for your response. However, in your last sentence you're referring to it like a numbers game. I'm not referencing hourly deals canceling over sick relatives.

The sessions where sick relatives have come up were like 2 hour sessions,

overnights and such with specified people. I don't do the whole book 3 clients in a day and hope 2 show up as often because these days it seems I get lots of volume but the quality and reliability is down. Especially with traveling. I just don't do it unless its bonafide clients. Just like manufacturing. Lots of guys calling, but their quality is like Chinese knockoff. They flake and break and have to be returned and recalled. Sign of the times it seems. The texting/ Grinder conveyor belt culture.

Again, these are fairly trusted guys so I don't deny or question it. But I'm starting to feel gullible and silly believing such things, and then saying the hail Mary prayer, doing seances and asking the good Lord to heal their relative...when in reality the sick relative probably died 10 years ago and they use it as an excuse to see another guy or spend the would be escort money to buy a new gadget. Talking to women and hearing their stories, I've come to realize guys lie. They will lie, lie, lie.

Again, talking worst case scenario and I still assume clients are generally honest, trustworthy and would never do such things.

And I also find collecting deposits works just fine for me...so don't knock it if someone does it different. Again, I've gotten away from the get a hotel, wait for 3 out of 5 clients to show up kind of stuff. I only work with select clients because there's too much flakiness going on these days and I have to get my money upfront. Just this week, in a 3 day period in an area I only visit once a year in summer due to this kind of shit...I've had every client who contacted me (about 5 or 6 and 3 just today) flake. I don't have time for that shit. Luckily, I have 1 client here who pays my deposit, fee and accommodations and don't have to be stressing over the rest of the goddamn clowns.

Just today, someone sent me my entire 2 hour fee, from a missed session last week. When I devote my entire day and week to a client, i ain't got time to be clowning around.

It isn't unique to escorts. I have an employee who just lost her godmother's twin sister. She's a Jehovah Witness and I'm pretty sure they don't have God parents. She's already run though more grandparents and other family than I can count.

Exactly, so you see what I mean.

I remember a friend from years ago told me, whenever he needed to call into work or cancel sex with a guy...he'd claim a relative just died. Thus, the title of the thread is reminiscent to how he said "I've probably killed like 100 relatives". It was funny, at the time...but when something tragic happened to him..it made me realize to never makeup stories of misfortune because it can manifest itself in real life. Life and death are in the power of the tongue...so I don't even speak that stuff into existence.

Of course, that's not to say everyone who has that happen is lying. But...I feel like atleast 2 people did lie when they cited family emergency and "stomach flu". I think one guy forgot he had paid me last time...and shortly after bringing up my rate...suddenly his whole family became plagued by stomach flu. Sure.

I also had a grandmother who was terminally ill for 4 months. During the whole time...A couple cousins popped up, once or twice. When the going got tough, they couldn't handle it and bailed. The favorite grandson she paid thru college 20 years ago didnt show up during the initial progression nor the funeral. I was there for a month. The only ones who were there 24/7 was me, my mother and aunt. And even then...I had time to take clients here and there as it didn't require me to be glued to the bedside.

I know how men are. They aren't standing bedside next to anyone for too long unless there's some deeper connection going on. So like the song says, "You ain't gotta lie to kick it"
