Skin is an interesting thing. Both my maternal grandmother and my maternal aunt smoked heavily for years-Diana Rigg was reportedly a heavy smoker until relatively recently. They both had deep lines on their face. My Mom who was not a smoker and who is now 82 has some lines. But nothing like my grandmother or aunt. But my aunt's daughter-my oldest cousin just turned 66. Over the last five years, her face has become very lined just like her mother's (my Aunt). She wasn't a smoker. I've wondered if part of it is due to the stomach 'stapling' she had done about 5 years ago.

I heard a radio interview with Patrick Macnee on the SF ABC affiliate a long time ago, in which he said his mother divorced his father and moved in with another woman, and that he was made to wear dresses while growing up.

 

Fortuitously, this did not make him homophobic . . .
