Rentmen - Order of Escorts

Whenever I check Rentmen the escorts are usually (always) in the same order. For example: For the last day or so I check Los Angeles and it has Sean Zevran first then Roger Macho etc. Is there a specific reason why the order is relatively the same?

The order of appearance is not alphabetical, if that is what you are thinking.

 

RM has said in the past they prioritize ads that are "Platinum" (premium paying), followed by "Gold", and then by others. Within those categories, last login time and availability are supposed to factor in. And within those groupings, it is supposed to be more or less random order.

 

However, I suspect, the sort order, like with most search engines, is based on what serves RM the best and is a proprietary algorithm in order to encourage advertisers to pay for a better a position.

I tend to see myself very high, 1st or 2nd after platinum, anytime I'm on. I believe and would hope it focuses heavily on being active on the site to ensure clients aren't trying to contact someone who is offline or already booked.

If searching 'available now' be warned, that u will see lots in the results that don't have the green light, because the platinum, then gold members who are in your city (or have a "plan" to be in your city between x-y, or "available for travel to") will be shown ahead of basic members who are in your city, and available now. This is how some pros are simultaneously available now in both NY and LA.

On rentmen, the advertiser pays for the level of their ad, for being escort of the day, for platinum boosting their ad, for advertising their videos and interviews for the day/by the day... for being a sponsor~

It's all an expense to the advertiser~

It's also limited space for all of those things. So, guys will buy up lots of time for their advertising making it difficult for other guys to get their augmented time secured~

However, guys who travel and book months in advance can show as "on line" even though they are booked and off line"~

Some guys book six to eight months in advance for US based Clients and up to one year or more for international travel Clients~

Additionally, advertisers who show they are "on line" don't necessarily go back into the site and adjust their availability to show they are off line, unavailable or booked~
