I guess this topic should be irrelevant to politics, so I would like to share some other information.

The legal system in Hong Kong, as one heritage left by the UK's administration, is almost perfect. Don't worry policemen (mostly, they can speak English well enough) would unreasonably bother you. Personal prostitution is legal.

About the location, most escort from mainland China live around Jordan and Tsim Sha Chui station. The ones from the US, Europe or Australia may live in Hong Kong island, like Wan Chai or Causeway Bay. When I worked and lived in Hong Kong, there are hardly any white twinks I prefer, but the ads showed the spatial distribution anyway.

It is a world class city, very open , very international. As a post-colony of the UK, it makes English speaking people very convenient also.

Last but not the least, the food in Hong Kong is great. Use 'openrice' to search anything you like or want to try.

And that was true even 30 years ago on my last visit (other than frequent layovers at the airport). My first Beggars Chicken was a religious experience I wouldn't encounter again until last year in Kuala Lumpur. My hotel even had a much used kosher kitchen. The only thing my expat friends complained about was the pizza (but they were from Brooklyn and probably didn't like the Manhattan pizza either).

I am from the central area of mainland China. The Cantonese and Shanghai food in this city is even better than Guangzhou (the capital of Guangdong) and Shanghai.
