Pics are from social media pages of "porn star and rapper" Thomas Tekno which would lead one to believe the profile is totally fake.......... but most fakes on bp disappear or change in short order. He has had roughly the same ad with same pics and phone number for at least a year now. Also ad is from North Jersey backpage and TT's facebook page says he lives in the Bronx. I did text him a while back and he said he was Thomas Tekno but a request for a personalized selfie went unanswered. Know its a long shot but if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it.

IMHO they keep running them as long as the money is coming in. If you Google his name you can find his FB page. It indicates he is an aspiring Rap star from the Bronx but currently lives in Milwaukee, WI. If you have a FB account (I've done this before) you could always message him on FB letting him know someone is using his pics for a M4M escort on BP in NJ. It also appears he does porn for Flavworks. He also has 2 twitter accounts one is "his name" & the other "his nameXXX"

 

If he won't send the selfie ask him to Facetime or Skype. If he refuses that too move on. Unfortunately with NY/NJ BP you really have to do your homework. Good luck. Let us/me know what happens.

Interestingly enough - he's appeared (frequently) on Detroit Backpage. I found his "name" through google images...and vetted him a bit on FB. When I called him, I asked him where he was from (never mentioning the name Thomas Tekno) - and he said he's from Chicago. I never met up with him - smelled the fake all day long. Occasionally his ad pops up in Detroit. Safe to say its just a fake, like so many are.....

Hey thanks I had given up hope that there would be any more replies. This may be a coincidence but when I did my original due diligence several months back TT's social media pages then said he was from Chicago. Since been changed to Bx / Milwaukee but if he is a fake at least he did his homework! Or as I said before quite a coincidence. Still before I take the plunge I think I'll wait for more info from the good denizens of this forum.

I'd pursue elsewhere. Looks as though he has also surfaced in Long Island - different profile and contact number.
