the disappearance of rates is a significant change!!....

 

even logging in and/or using an overseas proxy does not seem to help....

 

I can still see the written text reviews, though, using the proxy

 

I may be wrong, but it looks like the field where one would even enter his rates is gone. I'm not really sure where it used to be, put poking around I don't see it.

Probably not, but the providers are about to get slammed with A LOT requests for their rates. If they thought the nuisance requests were bad before, I can only imagine now. That is unless the start adding the rates in the ad text.

I assume RM would just edit it out then.

 

Kind of silly though when their name is "Rentmen". Yeah, taking out the price is really going to fool the authorities. Hope they don't go down the same road Men4rentnow did.

I doubt the site will allow that. And years of experience tells me that most clients don't read ads anyway. I'd be willing to give it a try, but the site now gives a pop-up message saying they'll edit the fuck out of any text you enter, so I don't want to be the first escort to tweak my ad and end up with Palinesque garbage like (yech) M4RN gives you.

Yeah, "ask me" used to be a great way to screen out the ones that charged for everything or way higher.

What's your guess on the number of threads like "Is 300 the new 250?" related to rates? Increase or decrease? It's certainly going to impact comparison shoppers.

You can bet that all of this editing was done under the careful guidance of an attorney.

 

It's not about fooling anyone: It's legal technicality and the ultimate amount of liability that RM is willing to take. Slight variances of HOW things are said can be the legal difference between an agency successfully pursuing action or backing off, knowing a judge would likely throw the case out.

I am in Europe, and no-one here has anything new in regard to the website functionality. Just a normal sunny day!

 

Pity that the "Country of Freedom" and its Values of Justice become the bed example for the whole world.

I am sure all Americans fellows will find the way to adapt the the new changes of RentMen, otherwise you are always welcome to Europe. :)

Seems like the website and I hope its servers are now based in the new free world....

It looks like rates are blocked if you're in the US, just like the review text.

 

When I use a proxy browser and the location is outside of the US, I see both the rates and the review text. But the rates sometimes disappear.

 

On Edit: Looks like rates are gone for US based escorts, using a proxy browser or not. I can only see rates for non-US escorts when I used a proxy browser.

Seems rates are out, but "Into:" is in. Odd that. Does anyone care if these guys are labeled "escorts" or "pornstars?" Looks as if we will all have to message or email guys for rates now. Wonder which men for rent site Jeff Sessions and Mike Pence use--we already know about Trump and his models. I was disturbed to hear a couple months back that France is aggressively going after the clients, but not the providers. Maybe that has something to do with the recent changes.
