Question for clients

I'm wondering if clients expect traveling masseurs or masseurs from out of town to travel with a massage table?

I don't. It seems like an awful lot of trouble, not to mention an opportunity for damage to the table.

Yes, I prefer getting a massage on a table. I agree it's probably a lot of trouble, but it's the "cost of doing business." Of course, I wouldn't not hire someone just because they don't have a table.

It's the biggest reason I stopped having masseurs come to me. My back and neck just don't have stamina and flexibility they used to have. Thankfully no problem in other areas.

For therapeutic I likely wouldn’t use a traveling masseur since I think it’s important to develop an ongoing relationship that’s something more in the line of doctor - patient.

 

For sensual or erotic I likely wouldn’t care much one way or the other if the provider had a table or not.

I don't expect masseurs to travel with their table so I automatically expect the massage to be delivered on the bed or the floor. If I'm looking for more interaction rather than a real massage then I would opt for the bed. Otherwise, I'd go for the floor with a pad or a really thick yoga mat for a good massage

I bought my own table, linens, heating pad, and massage creme! Still haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I bet the next masseur I hire is going to be shocked at how well prepared I am
