Live recording, Rio de Janeiro

Rex Harrison first sang/talked this song in "My Fair Lady."

Marlene Dietrich had sex with men and women.

Note: Judy Garland told Jack Paar on television that Dietrich once arrived with a large record of just applause from her recent tour of Germany. Marlene would identify the cities: "that's Berlin"

or "Frankford." Also there: Noel Coward. The Paar show is on YouTube. I saw it the night of initial broadcast. Garland also said, "Marlene is not one of our great singers."

Make You Feel My Love (7/18/17)

Casey Breves and Collabro

Adele (original)

Why exactly are they singing in a stairwell with tacky shiny silver accents everywhere?

Don't even get me started on the 1970's door latch.....

Like the video...the singing is nice....but far from incredible.

Where is the angst? Where is the heartache? Where is the despirate longing?

It sounds like it looks....random dudes singing in an over stylized stairwell....for no real reason.

Good for you! So few people even know it's a cover.

Dolly Parton first recorded it in 1973....WiKi Link.

It is perhaps the greatest cover of all time!

Indeed, and she was apparently the first artist to have a song chart at #1 twice with I Will Always Love You. I think you're right, it probably is the greatest cover. I can't think of a more successful one off the top of my head, and it doesn't diminish the original.

Talk about nailing it!

In a million years I would not have tapped Adam Levine to perform this song.

He pulls it off with such style and grace I was floored the first time I saw it.

It's a loving tribute to an incredibl artist and you can hear it in every note.
