Not sure what they charge there handsome but it's never made me choose the guy. If an escort is traveling to a different city it might help. I also wonder how certain guys are higher on the food chain when searching?

There's a specific subscription to appear higher on searches. As for who is first amongst those who have this subscription, I assume it's random.

Well ive recieved many profile reviews. But more importantly ive meet a vast amount of clients and based on great reviews and i have meet some really great men in the process. Expanding my viewer reach is my goal because i have done a sizable amount of travelling in my day. And i do know my clients have been a word of mouth biz and in many cities. So i think its all about location locationlocation

Almost every time I've paid to be rentmen of the day at least one of my clients has messaged to congratulate me. I always let them know that's it's something I've paid for. The crazy thing to me is the difference between east and west coast availability of "rent men of the day". On the east coast every single day for the next 3 months has already been taken (I just took the only available one for Sept 9th), whereas on the west coast there is a decent amount of available days (though they are about 6 weeks out).

To answer your question, I too normally notice alot of views but often no appointments, however the pay off certainly might be more distal than proximal.

I was crushed when @OliverSaks told me it was something you paid for, not something that was given as a reward.

Learn something new everyday! I thought the RM of the Day was some sort of "honor", not something you paid for. Oh well. But no, it's never influenced my choice. I look at reviews, read the ad thoroughly and compare and contrast.

It's not always paid. I've been RM of the day twice and didn't pay for it either time. I did notice a spike in views, but I didn't notice anyone saying that drove them to book time with me. Also, I notice a lot of the same guys being RM of the day repeatedly. That doesn't make me think it's an effective way to attract interest and book appointments.

As a client, I could not care less. I do not give a dime for guys featured by RM, I like to cruise the ads and find the ones I like. But that's only me.

Yup - I typically do not pay attention to RMOTD.

I think you may be looking at RMotD narrowly, or any marketing too narrowly. While I do not hire based on RMotD, I take notice of it. And, if that person comes around to my area, then I will remember them and it piques my interest.

The deciding factors are still the same, but I will pay attention to someone who is marketing more than someone who isn't.

There usually isn't a 1 for 1 correlation between any one marketing and gaining a client. I know there are several providers who I would attempt to meet if they were in my area, simply because they were marketing. (And, at least one on the forums that I would love to set things up with, if they were coming to South Florida.)

Marketing is marketing. If the question is whether the cost is worth it, then you should consider your total marketing plan. What are your marketing dollars available. I don't think there is a business around that wouldn't love it if they were able to limit their marketing to only those ads/actions that got direct results.

However, what is your brand worth? What is the power of brand recognition?

Just my tuppence.

There are more guys with an ad in NYC than LA+SF combined. The majority of East Coast RM of the day comes from guys in NYC because it's so difficult to get to the front pages

Has anyone benefitted from being Rentman of the Day? I did it once and got many profile views, but not a single new client.

I've had videos featured which is obviously cheaper and while I didn't get as many profile views, I did get some new business.

I had the same experience as you: lots of views, 0 new clients.

You never know when one of those viewers will be a client down the road! OR refer our to someone they know who would be interested!

Exactly why I am as pleasant to those who come into the store and engage my time and leave without buying as I am to those who spend $$$. I never know when they will come back for something they saw/liked/have been thinking about OR who they will mention/refer me to.

Exposure always has value.

True. More often than creating direct potential customers, it raises awareness of trans male escorts, which is sorely needed, and helps for the word-of-mouth types who aren't on these kinds of forums but their friend saw my ad on Rentmen.
