Escorts - prefer to host or travel (esp. if close by)?

Hello! I live in a condo in downtown DC. I am pretty close to many of the hotels that escorts use. It's a pretty nice place if I say so myself - the reward for buying real estate in DC in the '90s when it was a buyers market!

 

I would think an escort would like to travel if close by, just to get out. But I can see both sides.

 

Any opinion?

It comes down to the client and their comfort. Some prefer in call, others out. For me, I like to do In calls as it's easier to plan out my day. If I'm within walking distance of a 10 minute Uber, I wouldn't mind an out call. It begins to be difficult if you're traveling 30+ mins. Each way.

Don't mind either, but I prefer traveling, so that if anything bad happens I can just walk out lol. When I host someone I have to feel comfortable enough that they aren't some crazy and say who they say they are, so I usually meet them downstairs as caution.

For me it depends on the situation. But it can get complicated when it needn't be sometimes.

 

When I have an apartment or hotel, I prefer appointments to come to me. When I'm staying with relatives or friends, or doing a pass thru into a city, I prefer the client to host.

 

Point in case: been staying at a relatives home for nearly month. Can't host here. So mainly it's outcalls I prefer. However, because I'm a diamond elite member...I've not minded getting a hotel when necessary and the client let's me know in advance and perhaps makes a deposit.

 

Some people get turned off I guess if they think you're getting the room specifically for them. But I try to tell people, don't think ahead of me. Just meet me at the hotel. I have my reasons why I may want to get a hotel room for just 1 client. Maybe I want to watch a show that comes on once a week. AHS, L&HH, Forensic Files, catch up on headline news, etc. Maybe I don't mind the slight profit gain over gaining of some points or a night away from the friends/family to myself. Other times I ask the client to get the hotel room if neither can't host. I have my reasons for that also.

 

But some people have gotten it confused. One client cancelled after I'd booked the hotel. He thought I was just already there before he contacted me, with money magically just falling out the sky to pay for a Mariott room. I explained no, I had did it because you needed an incall...otherwise I've got wonderful friends that I can stay with, but I don't bring clients to friend's homes because their apartments/homes don't represent the level of presentation/ambience that I like to give off.

 

Once he understood, he kept our plans and all was well.

I am making the assumption that a large portion of escort business comes from married guys who can't host at home and simply ignores RM ads that say the escort is available for out calls only. The stats provided by @Kevin Slater would seem to back this up. One very sexy escort I know suggested we meet at a bath house. An alternative was found but not being able to take in calls I suspect limits the market for escorts.

It does, it really does. Most of the times atleast.

 

I've had a couple calls today and couldn't take either because they wanted me to host. I'm not hosting today. But ALLLL the other days I was hosting in a hotel....Only 1 or 2 asked me to host.

 

For all these hotels in Orlando (as it seems from @Kevin Slater's data), I still have to host? I've been here the entire month and June and only got asked to go to a hotel a couple times. And with less than an hour's notice to do it, it wasn't happening. The hotels are too spread out and far from my main location to Uber and all that.

 

I'll be looking forward to moving back into a regular residence again. All this hotel and incall technicals get to be too time consuming. Half the time out here, it's a toss up as to whether they even show up.

While the OP is about escort, not masseur......

 

Table would be a significant factor for in or out for massage.

 

Bed is usually fine, but a masseur really has better access, better height, etc on a table. And a good headrest/face rest on a table makes a big difference to me as a client.

Here is my two cents even though I realize this forum is directed to escorts. I live alone so hosting an escort in my home is not a problem. I never hire for one hour but rather for lunch or dinner and then a couple of hours of play time. I love to cook so we eat in if the escort is willing. I'm getting together with a new guy next week and he prefers to eat on our first visit. I thought that odd at first but then realized that as he doesn't know me and he isn't certain that I wouldn't put something in his food. First time that has ever happened. Additionally most visiting and local escorts live on the West Side of L.A., I live on the extreme east side of L.A. County in a suburb. Under the best of circumstances the drive takes forty-five minutes to an hour and I'm so lazy and so old that I would rather have them make the drive.

I prefer to travel to the client mainly because I have a dog and cat, the dog will bark at times. Also I like to keep my personal space, my home, my private space. This doesn't mean I won't host but I'll do it on rare occasions.

I always travel. I like to keep my personal life (my home) separate. The way I look at it is that not everyone I see is in the city, so being open to commute up to 45-60min allows me to cater to more clients that don't necessarily live in Boston, or ones that don't want to drive into the city. Maybe once I build a few relationships I may be open to having someone visit my place. I did just pull out the silk sheets for the summer...

If I am out of town I prefer to host unless the other guy is close by within a few miles. When I am at home I absolutely can not ever ever host. I have a roommate and I prefer to keep work and home seperate.

All of mine are Outcalls. I have a husband and we also just took in a straight male roommate. I keep this part separate from my home life. @Keenan same with our Furbabies .... I have a car and will travel .....
