I only accept cash, not only its discreet but once you get it, it cannot be reversed :p

However not all cash is good lol... Just last week I got half my payment in euros...

I was so pissed, I had never been paid that way... But it was 2am and he was partying all night so I expected some sort of mess would happen in some way lol

Luckily I have a friend/client who was going to italy soon so he offered to exchange it for dollar amounts. I heard its extremely annoying to exchange foreign money to dollars in your bank.

Is he giving you $1.12 per €1? That's the exchange rate tonight. Yeah your client gave you 89¢ on the USD.

There are folks here who know far more than I on this topic but here is my 2-cents worth.

There is a record of every transaction regardless of the amount.

Moderate withdrawals within the US get no scrutiny except as secondary to some other primary investigation.

Deposits of large amounts (technically $10k) has to be reported to the IRS but multiple smaller deposits are are scrutinized for attempts to structure them to avoid reporting limits and also unusual activity. Every financial institution that accepts deposits or payments is required to 'know their customer' and report suspicious activity, cash or otherwise. Payments to flagged foreign entities (individuals, companies, banks, etc) get lots of attention for a variety of reasons (tax, money laundering, terrorist support, criminal enterprise, political mischief, etc)

All that said, if you withdraw $1000/wk within the US I know of no red flags that would create with anyone except your spouse's divorce attorney.

Just remember Dennis Hastert. He was convicted of "structuring" which in his case involved taking just under $10k out of different banks to pay the blackmail to his victim.

Yikes, I once paid an escort in Canada in US Dollars.

That's not a "yikes"-worthy action, don't worry. We Canadians love US greenbacks. Your dollar has been worth more for the past decade. Canadian and US dollar haven't been at par (or ours worth slightly more) since 2007 or 2008 when I worked at a bank. The simple action of taking that cash to the bank to exchange or putting it aside for an eventual trip to the US was no trouble for that escort you paid, trust me. Getting paid in US is great, IMO (good to let the guy know ahead of time, though, or make sure it's okay).

Cash & Paypal. I find some clients bring up having to run to the ATM so I try to help by offering an alternative. I do suggest if it is through Paypal you have them only send it as "friend & family" option and also get the PayPal prepaid debit card to have funds available to spend on hand immediately.

#1CASH

#2..(Green Square App) is the best app available for any smartphone holder, it can me setted up in 7 minutes not 3 days approval needed, this app allows us not to share any info if we don't want to and also allows us to deposit the money in 2 seconds to the bank account so the payment cannot be reversed.

#3..(Venmo) the second best app to receive and send money with no fee, venmo as cash app just requires you phone number or username to send money and also money cannot be reversed.

#4..(PayPal) for me, the worst, patents can be reversed, it charge you a fee for transfer, also share your info so not good, say not to PayPal.

#5..(Paycheck) I just take paychecks from regulars trusted by me, never take a paycheck from a first timer, your time is valuable.

In addition to this thread you will also find those who wants to walk to the ATM with you, very embarrassing and annoying situation if you don't have the proper comunicación before the person arrive or you get to his place, most of escorts love to see cash on the table first to make sure everything it's a real arrangement when they are first timer, never do this to a regular because you already know the person.

Never take coupons lol.

How about various store gift cards and some cash? I have received that request before! :p

True. A case can be made if the payments are structured to avoid reporting requirements. So, ten $1K withdrawal, under the reporting regs is supposed to be reported, provided they are made at or about the same time.

I don't think there's any specific amount, withdrawals or deposits, that wouldn't trigger a financial institution to file IRS Form 8300. Just the consistent behavior of an individual customer involved cash transactions that over a short period of time totaling over $10K in transactions.

Hastert's specific allegations were that he was withdrawing more than $10K before a bank employee told him of the reporting requirements, then he started withdrawing amounts smaller than $10K but added together the transactions amount to $1.5 million.

The question not answered as far as I have read is, "What did his victim do with the $1.5 million?" He wasn't arrested for structuring deposits.

This short article may explain your question about the victim and why he wasn't arrested. In short, he did nothing wrong.

With select, trusty providers I have gifted cash electronically via square and wallet. And in a few cases, I have gone old-school, like Epigonos, and gifted a postal money order if minimizing cash carry/burn was an issue.

I have had a client go Old Testament and heal a leper of my choosing.

One Rare Occasions for that very special Gentleman a portion of may be provided via Gregorian Chants and/or Interpretative Dance!

How did you know my "alternative" method of payment? Uncanny!

I think there would be records of every withdrawal that is made on your account. I know that there is some kind of action that must be reported to the Federal Government. However I think it is for a much greater sum of money.

The withdrawal can be seen in an account but, where it ends up isn't necessarily easy to see~

Sometimes, where it ends up is the problem... (for spouses and dependants).
