#2..(Green Square App) is the best app available for any smartphone holder, it can me setted up in 7 minutes not 3 days approval needed, this app allows us not to share any info if we don't want to and also allows us to deposit the money in 2 seconds to the bank account so the payment cannot be reversed.

#3..(Venmo) the second best app to receive and send money with no fee, venmo as cash app just requires you phone number or username to send money and also money cannot be reversed.

#4..(PayPal) for me, the worst, patents can be reversed, it charge you a fee for transfer, also share your info so not good, say not to PayPal.

#5..(Paycheck) I just take paychecks from regulars trusted by me, never take a paycheck from a first timer, your time is valuable.

In addition to this thread you will also find those who wants to walk to the ATM with you, very embarrassing and annoying situation if you don't have the proper comunicación before the person arrive or you get to his place, most of escorts love to see cash on the table first to make sure everything it's a real arrangement when they are first timer, never do this to a regular because you already know the person.

Never take coupons lol.

I like Google Wallet. However, it doesn't work with prepaid debit or credit cards to receive but I think also to send.

I have to defend PayPal as its not the worst, and probably because many people use it for other businesses so it's kind of the default standard. PayPal has its benefits. It's the Uber. The Grindr. The IPhone...of electronic payments. Usually whoever does it first is always outdone by a spinoff of the original idea.

That said, it's always good to be discreet. As we've heard with Airbnb and PayPal, some of these companies can bar you if they suspect too much funny business going on.

I would prefer green square because it can go right on your card, as well as venom but most clients usually do cash.

Thanks.

I pay cash, but this was interesting and useful, for other aspects of my life.

For example, I often sell my NFL season tickets. Prefer stubhub, but, surprisingly, they often sell best on craigslist. The PayPal dispute process is very reassuring to buyers. Ive used it myself as a buyer, when i got ripped off.

Different marketplace, and I have no concern regarding anonymity when selling. And I'll be looking into Green Square, as Ive been on a major de-clutter effort, and have unloaded alot of stuff on Letgo, craigs, etc.

I only accept cash, not only its discreet but once you get it, it cannot be reversed :p

However not all cash is good lol... Just last week I got half my payment in euros...

I was so pissed, I had never been paid that way... But it was 2am and he was partying all night so I expected some sort of mess would happen in some way lol

Luckily I have a friend/client who was going to italy soon so he offered to exchange it for dollar amounts. I heard its extremely annoying to exchange foreign money to dollars in your bank.

Another alternative is that large International airports, and even large shopping malls in tourist locations, often have a money exchange booth. Rates might not be the greatest but it shouldn’t be too difficult to exchange major currencies.

The hard thing to do with cash is to make sure to have that extra hour or twos worth at home in case the fun get to be more fun than you originally thought. I am definitely going to check out Green Square.

Good point.

Ive needed to go to the ATM with an escort at session's end.

As my siggy says, cash is king for now. But I am now set up to accept the other forms of currency like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. There will be a day when the US dollar will not be king and I am trying to position myself to a better place when that happens if I am still around.

Hugs,

Greg

Cash.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Nothing else affords the discretion of cash... nothing. And there will never be a time during my lifetime when cash is not robustly used in the US.

There was another thread about this topic but Bitcoin is heralded as untraceable. It may be true that individual transactions themselves can't be traced (though the communications about payments can be) you cannot legally set up an account from the US without providing a taxpayer ID number for yourself or an intermediate third-party. If you then convert your Bitcoins back to USD's then that sudden appearance of "worth" itself would prompt a question from a Federal or State inquiring mind.

For smallish casual payments I've used Venmo, Square, wires & inter-bank transfers, PayPal, Apple wallet, etc., but am aware that there will always be a record of that transaction. If weed were to suddenly become legal in my state I would Venmo/Square the hell out of it.

With select, trusty providers I have gifted cash electronically via square and wallet. And in a few cases, I have gone old-school, like Epigonos, and gifted a postal money order if minimizing cash carry/burn was an issue.

I wonder, though ... does the BANK start keeping track of withdrawls, say of $1000 cash?

No one is actually looking at your withdrawals, they don't have the resources for this, but if there is an investigation, yes, they can access all the information on each of your withdrawals including where, when, and how much, it is just on your bank statements which the bank keeps for several years, very easy to find that.

There are folks here who know far more than I on this topic but here is my 2-cents worth.

There is a record of every transaction regardless of the amount.

Moderate withdrawals within the US get no scrutiny except as secondary to some other primary investigation.

Deposits of large amounts (technically $10k) has to be reported to the IRS but multiple smaller deposits are are scrutinized for attempts to structure them to avoid reporting limits and also unusual activity. Every financial institution that accepts deposits or payments is required to 'know their customer' and report suspicious activity, cash or otherwise. Payments to flagged foreign entities (individuals, companies, banks, etc) get lots of attention for a variety of reasons (tax, money laundering, terrorist support, criminal enterprise, political mischief, etc)

All that said, if you withdraw $1000/wk within the US I know of no red flags that would create with anyone except your spouse's divorce attorney.
