Not my cup of tea. While yes I do love being a naughty lil whore I prefer to do it and express it in private. And while some might find dress up fun and exciting it really isn't for me. But don't let my thoughts on Folsom make you think I am vanilla.

Hugs,

Greg

I moved to SF for a year before I started my post-UG work.

First weekend there? There's this thing going on a few blocks away from my friend's place where I've been crashing - I take a walk to see what all the commotion is about.

Guy wearing puppet on his hand having strangers relieve themselves all over his puppet (toilet boy puppet...)- 2 muscled, hung probable pornstars fellating in a circle of onlookers - flogging demonstrations - guys from porn that I actually recognize - a gangbang being filmed in a second story window with onlookers counting each successive man entering the young, bound bottom (http://thebananablog.com/blog1/2011/10/08/public-sex-outside-window/)

And I think to myself:

"I'm not in Kansas anymore..."

One of these years I hope to get to the real Folsom. It's September 24th this year, so who knows? Well in NYC there is Folsom East and that is in about a month. However, that is small potatoes as it is only one narrow NYC block compared to supposedly thirteen in SF. You will see some porn stars there and even the odd escort. There are some vendors and flogging demos, but it's all quite tame compared to the real deal. Plus there is the post Folsom East party at the NY Bondage Club. There is also a some activity at the Eagle (which is locateted a block away) the night before and the night of. However, the event is an excuse to be able to wear your leather and parade around in the open air and that is not something that east coasters often have the opportunity to do. I would imagine that in San Fran if that happen even on a "normal" day that no one would hardly blink an eye!

So bottom line for Folsom East, you're not quite in Kansas any more, nor are you in the Emerald City... Kind of a Never-Never Land somewhere in between.
