@PapaTony: I've re-read your last post many times and now understand that I was missing your point. For example, if an escort is L.A.-based you're referring to the possibility of missing their ad when you're in L.A. for work at a time when that escort is traveling in, say, San Diego and has changed his Home Location to S.D. You'd miss that escort's ad while searching L.A. even though he's based there because his Home Location is S.D. while outta town.

I have to tell you that, from my experience, business falls off over time in one's home city . . . because you're based there. Prospectives procrastinate on meeting because they take your availability for granted. This is one of the reasons I've stepped up my travel. So the number of times I think this scenario may present is far outnumbered/outweighed by what I've already said about upping the eyeball count in a new city where an escort is "fresh meat."

Also, I've heard from other escorts who share my experience of not as many clients pre-booking as they'd like. So, just from my perspective, I think your critiques are based more on exceptional scenarios rather than the general "rule."

Heh heh. May I suggest a two-hour session in which the first hour is explicit stuff and the second is Fassbinder discussion? I tend to price hours two and on lower. :)

I always did identify with Fox...:(

Hopefully we can work out a meeting next time you are in DC. ;)

I'm confused by your mention of Fox. Perhaps you can explain it to me when I'm skedded to be in D.C. April 19-22. Holla. ;)

It was a general reference to the titular character in Fassbinder's Fox and HIs Friends, not directed at you personally. I don't think I've seen it since the theater I was working in at the time did a retrospective upon the posthumous release of his last film, Querelle. I see Fox is newly out on blu from Criterion. So many great movies, so little time to watch them.

So it's a case of when it rains, it pours, there is another visitor that week that I have a session planned with already. Not sure how many shenanigans I can get up to in one week in my dotage, but I'll send you a message through RM.

Although my interest is purely technical, regarding the RM setting for home city, I notice in the search criteria, there is a button to select "Visitors Only". I wonder how that interacts with the home city, so if you travel to Las Vegas and change your home city to Las Vegas, will your profile turn up in a "Visitors Only" search? I personally wish they had a "Locals Only" option, but it's a minor thing...

While I agree SolidAce is a fantastic escort, I disagree that he is particularly muscular. He is in good shape, but not "huge" or whatever. Just a 30-something slightly ginger in-shape handsome white guy. So don't expect a roid monster.

LOL . . . speaking of movies again, I'm reminded of one of the rich retorts from Kiefer's Lt. Kendrick under cross examination by TC's Kaffee in A Few Good Men: "I remember thinking very highly of Private Bell. I did not want to see his record tarnished by a formal charge." LOL.

In other words, when I agreed with the positive mention of Jake/Solid Ace earlier, I didn't wanna get into this but . . . I agree with Goosh. LOL. Worked out with him a few times. He's a tall boy, but on a inch of height per pound of lean body mass basis, I'm far bigger. :)

Ah, one of the Fassbinders I need to see. Yes, it's scandalous how many terrific Criterion BDs are getting released. Do I rent it and bring my queue to a near standstill while I take forever to get through all the damn goodies? Or buy it then keep putting off watching what I spent higher-than-average coin for because, well, it'll always be there on the shelf? Sigh.

Got your PM and replied. Thanks. :)

What you mention about "Visitors Only" is very interesting and I was unaware. Thank you! I welcome word from an engineer/programmer, but it seems to me that the only way that functionality could work is if it keys off of the disparity between an escort's Home Location versus their travel city. In which case escorts might be defeating the whole purpose (greater visibility) of changing Home to match their travel city. But of course, this would only apply when clients actually check the "Visitors Only" option. Another freakin' "sigh."

Fox and His Friends is my second favorite Fassbinder, number one being the TV Miniseries Berlin Alexanderplatz. I worked in Germany when I was REALLY young and I've never seen a better representation than Fox and His Friends of the peculiarity of German culture, up until the early '90s I'd say, where they can do remarkably cruel things (I mean personally, not on a holocaust level, I'm not talking about that or the generalized human banality of evil, I'm talking about the "small, personal" shit) Germans could do without even realizing they're doing it. Tokyo Story gets at a particularly bad element of Japanese culture at a particular time in a similar way.

Kudos to you for knowing Fox and His Friends. I HIGHLY suggest rewatching it. I love Germany. I love german film. P.s. My third favorite Fassbiner film is "In A Year Of 13 Moons" FANTASTIC

After looking at his 48 pics and reading his profile I feel like I've already seen him even though I haven't! Not a snipe. Just for laughs.

Yeah, a bit redundant comes to mind. I just can't make up my mind. Which ones. Fuck it. I'll just put them all in.

I feel very lucky to have been in the right place at the right time, it certainly had an effect on my worldview. I'm going to get Fox now, and I see a couple of different imports of Querelle on blu are available. From experience, my buying an import is a sure fire way to get a domestic release, so I guess I will take that hit. I see there is some discussion if Berlin Alexanderplatz will ever be released in HD, since it was meant to be watched on TV. That's one I've never seen. Thanks for the tip on Tokyo Story.

Turns out Richard Linklater is a Fassbinder fan. Who knew? (I didn't. Makes me wonder if the German name of his production company is Fassbinder-inspired.) I liked

.

(My understanding is that, upon the birth of one of their children, Mahler was so moved that he wrote the Adagietto from his Fifth Symphony--a gift to wife Alma after her gift to him of a child. It's of course heartbreakingly beautiful. Bernstein conducted it at JFK's funeral. It was then played at Lenny's funeral. Gotta love the way Rainer uses it at the beginning of 13 Monden to accompany scenes of . . . guys cruising and hooking up for sex in a public park.)

This is correct. I am not a bodybuilder. Also, I have retired from escorting. If I can ever be of service to clients navigating escorting, please don't hesitate to reach out. Best, SolidAceGuy

Retired? Say it isn't so. You're too talented.
