When I used to escort I can say I recall keeping my costs down and I depended on regular clients for three reasons, 1. Financial, 2. I knew them, 3. I often became friends with the regulars.

I love sci-fi too -- and this year's movie ARRIVAL was great. I just finished the first season of FX's LEGION and loved it. I find that more and more boundaries are being pushed with new sci-fi and it's all to the better in my opinion. I remember falling in love with Asimov's FOUNDATION TRILOGY when I was a kid... and the rest is history!

How much? I think that's a bit of an odd question to answer, but I think I know what you mean. I've been lucky to have many regular clients over the years. You know, there's something about a regular client that allows the relationship to evolve, go deeper, even in many cases become more intimate. So I'd have to say "a lot". I rely on regular clients not just financially (which is what I think you meant, Mydavid) but also for emotional, mental, - and yep, physical - stimulation.

I think many of us could. Survive - again, I think you meant financially. I can think of a few escorts over the years who got themselves in trouble, essentially ruined their reputation, and then probably lost their regular client base - or at least a significant portion of it. And those guys (there are two I'm thinking of right now) went on and changed their ads a bit, and it seems like they successfully tapped into a new pool of clients. And they probably built up a new group of regulars. That's partly why this industry is so challenging, for both escorts and clients alike - but that's probably a discussion for another time.
