Stop waiting. If he's not responding to your communication he's probably not showing up.

On the one in a thousand chance he has a legitimate issue causing his absence and lack of contact, celebrate with him when he shows up or you get together later. This actually happened to me once--escort misplaced his phone and could not show up (address was in a text from me) or call. He called me as soon as he found his phone and did eventually show up.

Shit happens...and MAYBE his phone died....

but if you're late...and I've gotten no update....

and you don't respond to my text/call....

I'd give you 10-15 minutes max and move on.

Any sane human being would understand that you're not bound to wait in the dark....at all.

Another etiquette question: how long should you be willing to wait for an escort?

By "wait," I mean escorts who are not only running late, but also stop responding to phone and text.

Any professional escort will give you a heads up if they are running late, sometimes traffic is bad or something else might cause a delay but my policy was always if I am going to be more than 5 minutes late I notify my client. If they just stop responding to text or emails most likely you either said something that turned them off or they got a better offer. Unless the client was a total creep I was always polite enough to say that its just not a match. Thats my two cents

I would say wait 10-15 minutes max and if you don't hear from them, give them one last call, and if they don't pick up then you should move on, but i know things happen unexpectedly. However if you know your going to be late you should always text/call stating you are, as time is precious to both clients and escorts.

Twelve minutes and seventeen seconds.

But seriously, I think it depends. If the appointment is at rush hour in a city like Chicago, LA, or NYC and he has a distance to travel, I give the guy 20 - 30 minutes leeway. Calling or texting while on the road is not always possible. The escorts who lived within walking distance of my condo received no leeway unless they were commuting from somewhere. The most prompt escort was one who would drive from LA to San Diego to see me. Always on time. (He left early, just in case)

So this week I was meeting an escort for the first time for an incall. He was prompt and responsive when I first scheduled it - 3 finger selfie and then some to confirm. We set a time, 5pm - about 4 hours before the set time he asked if we could make it 530pm as he was worried about traffic. No problem with me. He told me he would text me when he got home, and I told him I'd text when I left to let him know I was on my way.

5pm rolls around, I text saying I'm heading his way. I get there at 530 and let him know I'm there. 5 minutes later I remembered he said he would text me when he got home, and I realized I never got that text. I waited around 10-15minutes with no response so I started heading home.

About 5 minutes to 6 I get a text basically saying OMG I'm so sorry I just got home now. I asked him to call since I was driving and he did. He explained he got rear ended on the way home (not the sexual kind I was waiting for haha). He was not hurt but had to exchange info for insurance. Eventually I headed back and met him at his house. Apparently he uses some voip thing for messaging and he has to be on WiFi for it to work which is why I didn't get any response when I was first there.

Had a great time, nice guy - I will be a repeat client. Long winded story to basically say there is always the chance of extenuating circumstances. You definitely have to have some patience and understanding. The people you're hiring have lives outside of the time you're scheduling and life can be chaotic. Be reactive to the situations that can occur and handle it with class.

My sentiments exactly.

Out of interest did you see his damaged car? Also it sound like he should pay for a little data.

I agree on the data part. That being said he did tell me ahead of time that he wouldn't be able to get back to me until he got home. I realize now I failed to include that part. No, I didn't see the damage to his car as I was too preoccupied seeing him in all his glory. ;) I'm a patient person, and even if for some reason the rear ended thing was made up as some lame excuse - he still got back to me when he could, made it happen and I had a great time.

,

I think you should get a three-finger selfie of him sitting on the damaged car holding a bill for the VOIP service and a letter from Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, Metro PCS, Boost, Virgin, TracFone, and USCellular attesting to the fact that he is not their customer.

And even if they’re not a professional escort, it’s still important for either client or escort to inform each other if they’re running late. Good communication is key.

Once, while in Vegas on business, I arranged an incall and he was almost an hour late. Yes he stay in communication and very apologetic. I wasn't too bothered by it since I had no other plans and was bored and alone in a hotel room.

In his last apologetic text before arriving he said he "would make it up to me".... well he was so hot and so nice and so pretty...it was the best sex I had ever had and he kept riding me for 3 hours and refused to accept anything more that his one hour fee.

That was a year ago. I return to Vegas next month and can't wait to see him again. God I hope he's late!!! LOL
