how to react to noshows?

Hey everyone,

 

I wanted to ask: how many clients here encountered situations where they set up a meeting with an escort, but then the escort never came and stopped responding?

 

I just had an encounter like that. We agreed at a specific hotel room and price. However, first he texted about being late, then he never showed up, nor did he answer my text asking if it was still on (I only sent 1 followup text, and that about 2 hours after the original time). This happened about 12 hours ago.

 

Personally, I don't care if an escort changes their mind, but not letting me know is extremely unprofessional - I would have hired someone different had I known.

 

What do you usually do in this situation? I was about to give him a negative review (Rentmen), but wanted to throw it past you guys first. Thanks.

Happen to me when I went to London in September. Paul Walker, we set a date and time, and then he blocked me the day of, with no explanation. I wrote a negative review on his http://sleepyboy.com/ profile, but he deleted his account before it appeared.

Where does it say that Daddy doesn't accept them? There is at least one famous escort has found this out when he was burning the candle at both ends. He's much more sensible about it now.

 

No show area was tried by Hooboy, it didn't work out well at all.

I can see how no-shows have trouble being "verified," but I've been hiring escorts and writing reviews (all positive) for some time now on Rentmen. The guy (https://rentmen.com/kentryder) had himself marked as available as I write this message. I've let him know I found his conduct unprofessional (I lost a night of vacation since I waited for him), and that's all I have to say to him.

You mean, book 2 appointments with 2 different escorts at the same time? If plan A does work out, YOU would essentially be stiffing escort B by being a no-show yourself right? Am I understanding this correctly?

If you are a nice guy, friendly, easy-to-deal-with, and keep your word, no-shows aint that big of a deal and will be a rare phenomenon. I've had maybe 3 in the past 16 years. I never attempted to contact them again.

I.e., as our sage @jawjateck advises, forget them and move on. Life is too short to carry toxins around for even a minute after such an event. Which, in my experience as in his, is rare but over time inevitable if you do this much.

P.S. Some may argue we have a duty to warn other potential clients of escorts who no-showed on us.

 

I think the answer to that has two parts:

 

I can forgive a one-time no-show. One time I booked a guy who was visiting Boston and advertising on craigslist; I went to his hotel at the appointed time; he didn't answer my repeated calls to both his cell and room phone; after 30 minutes waiting in the lobby bar, I gave up. Six months later he came back to town, put an ad on rentboy, I rebooked, we met and had a good time. It is a stressful business that can clash with normal daily life in several ways, and I for one am happy that there are people willing to try to do it at all.

 

OTOH, if a working guy is a chronic no-shower, he is likely to eventually drive himself out of business, from the expense burden of ads vs. weak income from not showing. Problem solved, QED.

If an escort does a no show when your appointment is 8 or 9 pm it is sometimes difficult to find another guy that will come to you unless you double book and cancel one of your appointments at the last minute. On my last.no show I called 3 other guys. 1 Was busy. The second had an early flight out of town and would not meet that night and the third did not get back to me the next day. I do not travel with my computer. Plan B is a bunch or BS that some of you guys believe in. I doubt that you have encountered a no show. Just how do you make plan be work unless you consider your five fingered hand plan B.

A month ago one of my favorite traveling guys let me down waiting in his hotel lobby. He overslept and would not return my calls. Upset, I called one of my local reliable regulars, two hours later I was playing. Plan B works.

In July I was visiting Buenos Aires. I did my research and had a list of the guys I was interested in. Number one was a poor experience. I walked out in the middle of the session and paid him partially. I called number 2. Bingo. Plan B works.

There are circumstances when plan B is not feasible, like being let down in an apt at 11pm, there is little chance you will find a replacement in such a short time, of course. But plan B is not bull shit.

And FWIW...Plan B doesn't always include hiring another escort. I'm a pretty resourceful guy. Strange city or otherwise, I can usually figure out a way to make the most out of an evening... So yes, think ahead, get creative, use your imagination and don't let a 'no show' or bad experience with an escort ruin your day....Always have a plan B.
