I say it depends on the person and the event. There was a thread about taking escorts to the opera. For some that would be amazing... others not. I'm a movie fanatic and a few guys I've seen are the same. So if we do an overnight we usually go and if we just meet to hang out off the clock, it often involves a movie.

thank you for asking this question. Sometimes I just want dinner and a concert/play or event. Not wanting to go alone, I just don't go. I hate dining in a restaurant alone. When I had to travel on business, I would always stay where I could get room service or food delivered. I've never been one to go to a bar alone either.

Off-topic, but perhaps not. I took a date to see Judy Garland at Boston Garden when I was a freshman in college in 1961. I did see my date after Garland died. She said in 1961, it was too early in her life, but as time went by she appreciated seeing the 2.5-hour concert more and more. There are not many Judy Garlands, but it's possible that with time hires feel the same way.

This is not a "civilian" date or BFE and you are really setting HIGH expectations if you want them to "appreciate" your effort.... For me it's like giving a gift. Everyone expects good manners, but if you don't get pleasure from giving the gift itself, and need something back like gratitude or appreciation, maybe it's time to rethink the approach. Instead of an overnight where you need to take a break for some kind of entertainment, maybe a late-night appointment with a follow up the next day?

The broad assumption that the sex we are having with our clients is mechanical and that there is no connection, that just makes me sad. You either aren't hiring the right guys, or you are unable to open up to them. The connection I try to have with my clients is one that is authentic and comes from a truly loving place, the only thing that can get in the way of that connection is their willingness to embrace it, but that's a rarity. I'm sorry you haven't experienced it that way.

I must admit when I began hiring escorts I was very careful about time spent "on the clock."
