I had scheduled a 2 hour session with an escort in DC recently, but he had to cancel 30 minutes before it started and said "the next one is on me" as a way to make things up.

Has any other escort offered "comp" sessions to clients? I want to take him up on his offer but wonder if I should make it a longer session so he does not feel gypped.

I recently had a scort cancel a confirmed appointment the day before and said he'd "make it up to me" but I don't think that's the same outstanding offer that the OP got. I vote for sfwestcoaster's reply.

I once had a well known escort completely cancel on me, the day of... a few hours before we were to meet for an overnight. He claimed he had an issue that required surgery. He then said he'd make it up to me. Well the make up session never happened.

I've heard he tended to be forgetful and being that he supposedly had surgery I didn't want to badger him about his statement to me. So I just let it go.

So if the offer is on the table, I would do as people suggested already and go for it.

I have never had an escort offer to make it up to me for cancelling. I have had escorts say that I owed them something even when I canceled a week in advance. What do you owe an escort if you cancel giving several days notice?

I would accept his offer and if the appointment went well I would tip him generously.

Edward.. If I have to cancel last minute I expect to pay for the time they allocated to meet with me.. When I next see the, I pay for the cancelled visit. I have had escorts give me a free session for my birthday and it a huge discounted rate if we go overnite somewhere after we know one another

Have had the offer, but when it comes time to collect they have magically disappeared, stop communicating, get selective amnesia, or otherwise never follow through (exception one Canadian escort, long gone who comped me on the spot). From my experiences, I would graciously accept but only as part of a double booking or see if he will let you pay for the next two hour session, but extend the stay to 4 hours. This gives him at least some financial incentive to follow through with you. The generous tip idea works as well, but only if he shows up in the first place, and since he doesn't know about it in advance-- he may not follow through because he is unaware he has this incentive coming.

Turning down a generous offer like this (although it can be hard to accept gifts graciously) can be taken more negatively than you might think. Allow an escort to be generous to you if he really wants to be (be it free or discounted session, buying you dinner, giving you a gift etc.). You can always reciprocate that generosity with a tip.

Over the years multiple clients have reported on cancellations with the promise of either a free session or a discount on a subsequent visit. The majority of time that (client) members of the Forum have reported back the free/discount session never materialized. On the other hand, disgruntled clients might be more likely to report their experiences here than satisfied ones.

I was meeting with the now retired escort, I'm presuming as he hasn't advertised in probably two years or more, Brock Hart back in 2010 or so. We were doing an overnight. He had to leave briefly after dinner (I won't go into the full story) but was supposed to return in an hour or two. He never showed back up.

I got a call or text later that evening with him reporting he had symptoms consistent with food poisoning. I had already paid him. I'm still not sure what to believe. He had great reviews. On the other hand I know he had friends in the Seattle area. I don't know whether the siren call of a night out with friends vs a night in with me might have proved too great for him to resist-shocking as it might be for the Forum to find out that someone might not prefer an evening with moi.

I can't remember if this was mine and Brock's 1st meeting or not. But it occurred after a previous trip had fallen through a few years before at the last minute when he let me know a day or two before that he had broken a limb, separated a shoulder, or something similar.

So sometimes promises of discounts do work out.

I had something like that happen to me once. The escort was this gorgeous muscular twink visiting DC from NYC. I had an appointment with an escort who I had met before. We planned an overnight. He called when he arrived in town and I suggested a one hour appointment and dinner. We had the appointment and dinner and he suggested I just pay him the total fee when he came for the overnight. Brock did something similar to me a few years back. All booked, confirmed and even got his hotel room number. Knocked at the exact start time and no one. Called/texted him and no reply. 2 hours later got an email "sorry got caught up with work stuff"......yeah right the appointment was for 10pm!

I think since you had already paid he needs to refund the fee and offer something for rebooking. Sounds like I dodged a bullet but boy was it awkward with the hotel front desk staff
