This is the cake that Jonathan Swift served at tea after publication in 1729 of his famous essay, "A Modest Proposal For Preventing the Children of Poor People in Ireland From Being a Burthen to their Parents or Country" wherein he suggests harvesting the starving Irish children and selling them as table meat to end Ireland's economic crisis.

 

NB: It was a satire written because the British Parliament refused to do anything to help.
