Guys I have seen DRAMATIC rise in both areas while touring this summer. Why on Earth would anyone want to leave a paper trail with an escort? This is totally not discreet!

And the drug calls.....off the charts! "Do you party Mikey?" Not no but hell no!!! Lost too many friends to all that stuff.

Finally, in the I thought I had seen it all department, I had a client in an undisclosed city recently and we were having a great time. He was REALLY into me. Guy had a HUUUUUGE cock , bigger than mine. he wanted me to top him but wanted to go slow. All was good then RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SESSION, he falls asleep and starts snoring loudly. I tried 3 times forcefully to awaken him to no avail.

After his hour he paid in advance for my ride showed up and I had to leave for another call. I checked on him the next day and he admitted he was using Tina or X or whatever the kids are using today !

I have had clients pass out after a session or after an orgasm but not IN a session. Funniest thing of all is that his cock stayed ROCK HARD and was hard when I left. How many viagras had he taken??

I can only comment on the paper trail part, not everyone cares whether they are traceable in that way. I prefer longer appointments and I like the ability to pay with a credit card rather than carry a large amount of cash. It's not a deal breaker, though.

Well I probably wouldn't whip out my card on a first visit. I have managed to pay on the installment plan once or twice though. And sometimes layaway is an option. Grreat way to pay for that special Christmas gift.

And like Mr Mackey says: "Drugs are dumb. Yeah. Don't do drugs"

Ah - the magic of TriMix and GHB.

PayPal requests, yes. But not so much a dramatic increase. It's just become more common place. I like google pay better though. It goes directly to a bank account.

It's actually more discreet to pay with PayPal than to have the wifey/hubby notice $500 come out the account. Just put it under "package delivery".

I don't find heavy partying any different...but it supposes where you live. The big issue I'm having is people's use of poppers. It's getting a bit much. I had a guy lose his balance and fall flat on the floor after having taken way way too many sniffs of poppers. After that, I almost considered banning it from my place. Last thing I need is someone to end up dead or Lamar Odom in my hotel or apartment. Maybe have them sign papers saying not responsible if you suffer injuries due to popper use.

Excellent point on discretion. Another point is safety. Do you really want to carry a bunch of cash around or have it in your hotel room while travelling?

If you accept payment using something like Square you can use any business name you please.

You might want to do just that. When I used poppers I always asked if a guy was OK with me using them. If he said "no" or seemed unenthusiastic when saying "yes" I didn't use them.

Given the way people follow instructions without fail, there's the potential for a guy to mix poppers with Viagra/Levitra/Cialis thinking he won't suffer the ill effects of mixing them. Then you have a dead or at least very sick naked guy in your place. That would make for a very interesting paramedic visit.

In the EPIDEMIC OF CHEAPNESS thread, Mr Wayne posted this:

....on my summer tour I had an incredible number of inquiries asking to pay with credit cards or pay pal. What a joke! Who pays an escort with plastic and leaves a paper trail and an electronic record ? It is stupid and simply means they do NOT have the cash and cant get their broke hands on 200 bucks if their life depended on it. ...

Or it means they want to accumulate the airline miles or loyalty points and/or simply do not wish to carry a pocketful of cash around. This is 2016. Times are changing. Twenty years ago who would think to pay for a coffee with a credit card? We start tapping our feet impatiently when someone insists on fishing out change. Thirty years ago we were talking about a cashless society by 2000. We aren't quite there yet, but we are getting close.

Mike-I've always had the feeling you are a great guy to spend time with. But I suggest you rethink the tone of your posts. Lately they are trending toward the negative. I'd like to know more about your positive feelings and experiences a la Juan V. and Kevin Slater.

It humor me to think that my clients might be using their rewards they've earned from time with me to buy their wives something lovely. I've been using Square for about 2 years and I love it. I still like to keep a majority of my business in cash, but there are bills that have to be paid, so I need money in my bank account. To me, it's also a matter of customer service and it's nice to have as an option if a new client tries to give me a check or shows up and realized they forgot to hit the ATM.

Yes, but you live in Australia, not in the U.S. Here prostitution is illegal and at least in this city "everybody is kind of a big deal" and is afraid of using a CC because it might jeopardize his allegedly great future.

I'm glad you can and you use CC, but I would recommend you not to do it if you come to this side of the Pacific.

@marylander1940, yes, I'm aware of the different legal status of this in our two countries. I was actually making two separate points, one was that some people on both sides of the pond and not specifically me, are happy to use a credit card because of the convenience and are happy with the inherent disclosure risk, either the LE risk or the partner-seeing-the-card-account risk! The second point was my liking to have the option to use a card. That said, I have only used a card for a deposit on one meeting, others (and the final payment for that one) have been cash.

According to this article, credit card issuers use Merchant Category Codes (MCC) to track purchase transactions and log them in a database. Apparently, the code for “massage parlors” is 7297 and “escort services” is 7273. Law enforcement can subpoena the records to find out the time, date and place of a credit card purchase. The Department of Homeland Security also monitors at least some credit card purchases in order to “track terrorist activity.” Of course, as we all know, the Department does not necessarily limit itself to such activities. While I don't want to overstate the risks, for those who are particularly concerned about privacy, sticking to cash as much as feasible is probably the best approach. http://www.creditcards.com/credit-card-news/how-shopping-can-affect-credit-1282.php

The better question is why would someone even use those MCCs in the first place if you can even select those as your MCCs since most if not all processors in the US don't provide either option when selecting your MCC. Using Miscellaneous General Services or Miscellaneous Recreation Services would be the best option.

I’ve never been involved with setting up credit card processing for a business, so I don’t know what all the typical options are. I was just going by what the article said, which, admittedly, may well represent a worst-case scenario regarding privacy.

In any event, I'm personally a big fan of “miscellaneous recreation,” so that option sounds good to me. ;)

Wow.... is there anything you don't know? Hot and smart, an amazing combination!

Yep! I can't fathom someone using massage or escort services as an MCC. As an FYI, if you are required to supply a NAICS code (North American Industry Classification System), check out the US Census Bureau's website here and very carefully read the descriptions associated with the codes.

Your in DC its the methist city I have ever worked in. People use crystal like adderol so they can go work harder at there day job and at night they hire us. The social worker in me is dying inside but you can't help people who aren't ready to the help themselves. DC has a serous meth problem and the only thing you can do is to get mental health licensure so you can go practice and provide some chemical dependency counseling.

As for why your getting an increase in CC requests, this one seems obvious. We have people that are high on crystal meth that are home alone and horny so of course they aren't going to want to stop at an ATM for money, they just want some fast dick and not have to stop cruising while they wait for you to arrive. CC's are easy and given the amount of wealth in DC I'm pretty surprised there aren't more CC requests.

p.s. If I sound disparaging towards people with active substance abuse problems thats not my intent I am just speaking frankly

So that's both kneecaps you're missing?

Kevin Slater

Thank goodness for ATMS - I was able to keep my kneecaps. If they would just starting stocking ATM's with hundred-dollar bills. I hate carrying wads of 20's and it seems so seedy to pay that way. I imagine it's a minor problem - cash is cash.

Many of the 7-11 ATMs in San Diego dispense $100 bills, believe it or not. Typically, they dispense $20's for the first $200 and then $100s for amounts over that. Also, some Citibank ATMs in SD dispense $50s. I was recently in LA and found they did not dispense anything but $20s.

I hardly use ATMs anymore, but I haven't seen any in San Francisco that dispense $100s.

Interesting…I’ve always preferred 20’s to 100’s in my wallet. I guess it’s because most of my cash purchases are less than $50 and it feels rude to make a merchant break a $100 dollar bill over something small. If there’s a larger purchase it would be more reasonable, but I would also feel weird using cash instead of a credit card. I wonder how escorts prefer to be paid? I think I’ll ask…
