Gifts imho are a personal thing, the better you get to know the person, the better your choice of gift will be. Does he have a wish list at Amazon? Does he have a favorite store or restaurant that you could purchase a gift card to (i.e. Starbucks)? Does he like wine? How about a favorite brand of condom, lube or other supplies? Others would tell you that a generic Visa gift card would work fine or that cash is king.

 

In any case, I hope your guy appreciates you and the thought and act and doesn't focus on the bling itself.

Well, what does he like? Has he mentioned a hobby? A favorite wine? A movie he loves? A favorite band? If you've spent enough time with him to know a little about him, identify something personal and get a related gift. Does he love to cook? Have a dog? Cat? Mentioned how he loves to travel and always wants to visit a certain place? It all just depends. I believe in personal gifts. I'm not a fan of giving just to give.

Amazon wish lists really can be fun. Even if you don't get an exact item from the list, you get a good idea of what the gentleman likes. I really enjoy giving gifts, but I want some confidence that he will really like it. Not a fan of gift cards. You might as well just give him a tip.

Gift cards are a rip off in my view... If you are inclined to give a gift card... give cash. If he has shown an interest in underwear, I am sure he can always use another sexy pair. Plus he could model them for you if he so desires.

Loving all the suggestions above. I like to hold off on gift-giving until i know him well enough. I prefer nothing showy, but something that displays thoughtfulness and shows I've been paying attention to the small things. I remember one of the best reactions I've gotten to a gift was when my favorite guy in Atlanta saw me walking in with a tub of rocky road ice cream. He screamed out "how'd ya know I needed this?!" He had mentioned it a few meetings back. He was like a little kid ( I'm smiling as I type this bc he was so joyous). He promptly devoured 1/4 of the tub and pretty much all of me. @Reisr30, may you find a little gift that brings him joy and you, a great memory.

I wouldn't trust a compliment given to me, it's hard to distinguish when we paid for those. I'd rather pay attention to small talk and relax conversation, when his guard is low and honesty has more chances.
