Traveling escort room for rent Airbnb type situations?

Any escort ever used a forum to work in a big city like NYC or San Fran but didn't want to pay the really high hotel prices so they used an air bnb type situation or had friends of friends help them with some space for a few weeks or a month or two?

 

I ask because my roommate (who was the best, and I'm sad to see him go) has moved and I have a spare room in my apt in NYC and looking to have someone come in for a month or so during the summer here as I'm sure it's high season for escorts to have fun for themselves and a busy time to see clients as well (or I would infer so but I'm sure some of the escorts here would know better). Good idea or is this me just asking for trouble?

 

Also if any escort wants to know more info about the space feel free to message me directly. It's a gorgeous historic district neighborhood in a brownstone near little mom and pop shops and also near Atlantic Ave Mall if you are looking for those big name chains. Apt isn't much and room is small but perfect for someone who wants to have a place to crash for a few weeks/ month and live near everything and want to be out and about enjoying what NYC has to offer.

I think it's a good idea, but you might do better renting it out for shorter terms, like a week at a time. I would certainly consider renting a place for a week when I'm visiting NYC.

If I had a 2-bedroom place with a spare bedroom, I wouldn't want to rent out the second bedroom to someone who is going to have lots of strangers coming and going. In addition to being disruptive to me, I would be concerned about security. Also, in a multifamily living situation (apartment building, condos) there is the potential for negative impact on neighbors. I had someone evicted from the apartment above me years ago because they turned their small one bedroom apartment into an Airbnb rental and didn't limit the number of guests. I suddenly had large groups of young people above me who made it difficult for me to get more than two or three hours of sleep per night.

I had thought of the options of renting an apartment or a room for a trip to somewhere like NYC or Paris, but have been nervous about accepting the bona fides of either the owner or the agency offering the arrangement. Airbnb offers a little more certainty but I still have my doubts. I did see in a thread somewhere in the gay-niverse about someone subletting an apartment for a month and my interest was sufficiently piqued to ask what the likely rate would be. It wasn't an option as I could not have travelled at the time it was going to be available, but it has set me thinking. Certainly cheaper than hiring an escort for a week so I could share his apartment.

I guess if it is a large building with a certain level of anonymity and you don't mind strangers coming in and out of your apt, then go for it! I'm sure you can post something on craigslist describing your situation. As for me, i don't think i'm comfortable with strangers hooking up in my spare room. Too many nice things and artwork that may easily go missing...

Ha ha, the only artwork I have is a drawing my 5 year old niece did of me that looks like a cross between cookie monster and an autistic monkey's rendering of Satan. I'm pretty bare bones. I don't live in a large building though. It's quite small actually. It's a multi unit brownstone so that is a consideration to take. Thanks for your thoughts! :-D
