Dominic Thiem has broken through ahead of forecast. The Austrian will play Novak Djokovic on Friday, June 3 in the semi-finals at the French Open in Paris. It's been a very long time since a young guy has reach the semi-finals of a tennis grand slam event.

Thank goodness his skin problem seems to be clearing up as he ages--he had serious facial acne in his teens. And that bad blond dye job looked terrible, so I'm glad his handlers convinced him to drop it.

 

Unfortunately, Djokovic made him look not ready for the big leagues today.
