Sadly, a lot of workings guys who post have left the building or just lurk for various reasons. Some are chased off by a select few. You have to realize most of our business doesn't come from the forum. @Kevin Slater has nothing but compliments and likes regarding his forum contributions, and yet he estimated (in some other thread) that only a small fraction of his business comes from the forum. So what hope is there for the rest of us?

 

Personally, I find it a much better investment of my time and energy to work on furthering my relationships with those clients whom I have met who are already into me, rather than trying to cast a wide net or present a big personality to try to pique the interest of someone who would otherwise overlook me in the first instance. As an escort, I'm trying to build relationships with my clients, something a bit more personal than what I contribute on an Internet message board. Moreover, most of those clients aren't on the forum at all. The forum is good for exposure and perhaps creating a segue to meeting someone, but in the grand scheme of things, each forum post brings diminishing returns, if it brings returns at all. Getting a lot of likes on forum postings isn't going to make me a better escort. Popularity isn't my goal. It’s quite possible that frequent forum participation may not be worth the time investment from a purely business standpoint. But there may be other reasons to pipe up from time to time besides business. For example, besides sharing information, tips, and insights, I like to think of this place as a sort of community. Yes, a dysfunctional community at times, but still…many people, both escorts and clients, are able to raise issues here that they can’t really talk to anyone else about. I certainly appreciate the advice I’ve received, and I get the sense that this forum has meant a lot to the OP over the past year. I wouldn’t want to exaggerate this or stretch it too far, but I also recall instances of people providing tangible support to each other beyond just words during times of hardship. Anyway, I for one really appreciate your posts and hope you keep posting, regardless of any business considerations. To add on to what @Mikegaite said... this forum shouldnt be the way to get your income if thats the case you may be waiting a while to get a client that way. For many reasons whether it be distance, or your not their type and you may actually be losing potential clients by actually posting on this forum because they may not agree with a post you said. So posting on here may be a catch 22. Ive met one person from the forum since I became an active daily he was a nice guy and we had a great time. I'm not surprised that the Forum is a minor part in escorts' business models. The percentage of potential clients that are even aware of this forum, let alone readers or participants is low. Added to that, there are people here who may chat or even flirt with escorts, but through geography or other reasons don't hire (or at least haven't yet hired) the guys they have interacted with.
