Recently I followed up an escort session by sending the escort a one-month basic gift membership for $99.95 on RM....the one offered at the bottom of his RM ad asking the question "Is XXX your favorite escort?". The guy was very appreciative but I got to thinking perhaps he would have appreciated a cash tip more. So escorts......which is better, cash or the gift? Or at the end of the day does it even matter?

 

BTW...I didn't realize it at the time but I did receive the added bonus on being a premium RM customer for one month. LOL.

WOW! I just assumed that the escort would have his account credited for $99.95 less a processing fee and that he could apply the balance toward any kind of membership (Basic, Gold, Ad of the Day, etc) that he wanted. Now it makes me wonder how much of the $100.00 the escort actually received. I won't be doing that again anytime soon if the company is taking that much money from what I thought was a $100 gift. Thanks for enlightening me, Kevin.

Kevin if you don't mind me asking but what are you paying for your advert in NYC? Here in Chicago it's $20 for basic and $40 for premium or whatever they call it.

I realize now that I made a mistake in choosing to send the escort a RM gift membership but technically I wasn't over billed. The only option RM gives you is to accept their "gift package" at $99.95. There isn't an option to simply choose a specific dollar amount to forward on to the escort. Lesson learned. And here I thought I was helping the guy out. Once again, thanks Kevin for helping me to understand the nuances of RM.

Well I certainly thank the OP for bringing this up! I actually was considering it, but then had second thoughts as there seemed not to be any reasonable options other than what was mentioned. Plus, I figured that there might be some behind the scene pricing scheme kind of analogous to how cars, hotel rooms, and the gods only know what else are priced! Thanks to the escort input here... and I often wish that there would be more of that... the situation certainly has been clarified. Now I just need to get the guy to accept the extra cash...

 

Incidentally a 12 month gold gift is $719.95 or 60 bananas a month. That seems to be more in line with what is mentioned above... more or less...
