I have mostly experienced this phenomenon with younger guys and have some sympathy, recalling my own youth when the end of sex, i.e., orgasm, meant that it was time to see what was in the fridge. I get what you are saying, except I would not lump all younger guys in that category. I'm going to open up a bit here to illustrate my point: I opted to study in the US instead of following a prescribed educational path that my Dad had for me. I ended up having to finance my undergrad and MBA on my own. I escorted men between the ages of 20-24. I even considered making it my career path bc it was so lucrative. I soaked in all sorts of info and wisdom as a newbie in this line of work, but there was one pro - just a couple years older than me - who taught me the most. Today, as "successful" professional in my own consulting career, I laugh bc the single best piece of advice I have for my team is the very same adage. I find it ironic that I learned this as a young escort, and it is still paying off.

 

In my opinion, any young man claiming to be a provider should learn that early in their escorting career, and I honestly think those who haven't learned it are the minority, not the majority.
