So just a few things...I have been in the business for coming up on five years or so however my west coast tour is becomig a bit interesting as it seams clients have stopped looking at details like dates that your in a certain city,or getting upset you cant do incalls however the ad clearly states out calls only.. the haggling on rates I have come to understand to be a part of what can usually happen(obviously with in reason)...but just wondering if anyone else is kind of feeling bad having to reiterate the details losted on the ad,I feel kind of rude having to repoint out things like out call omly ect...what is the kindest way to reiterate these points?

Zach...the rude ones are the ones that will probably never setup a meet. They are trolling for the "new" guy on the block, and will ask anything and everything inappropriate to check your boundaries.

Those checklist may help but I am sure will still stay unnoticed pretty often. It's just a fact, people do not read, or read but not process. Im a teacher and suffer the problem every day. Directions are printed in the work sheet, up in a PP slide, explained verbally several times, and still a significant number of students will not get them.

So gear yourself with a good amount of patience and polish your customer care skills because you will need them. I've been teaching 14 years and it is not getting better but worse.

This. So. Much. And it goes beyond the classroom. I find the same thing among young lawyers I work with at my firm.

 

And, under the heading of "glass houses", escorts are not immune either. I've had guys ask me what's my name, when and where I want to meet on the same text string that already included that info and the location address further up. Maybe we all are finding it hard to remember stuff that's longer than 140 characters.

to play devil's advocate - sometimes the stuff in the ad is so clearly inaccurate ("Naturally smooth" and a picture of a furry chest) that I'll call to double check. Doesn't' mean I haven't read your ad, but that I think your ad may not be 100% accurate - and I'm interested in hiring. I called a local guy who advertised outcall only, and incalls coming soon, to see if he was taking incalls yet.
