I'm not an escort but a client. I've been on many gay cruises and can't imagine trying to hook up with an escort on one of these cruises. IMHO, if an escort is on the cruise, I'm assuming they are there with someone. I don't think it's the type of venue that lends itself to un-escorted hiring opportunities. I certainly wouldn't take that risk as an escort. Unpaid sex on those cruises is so available that I don't see a market for paid opportunities.

I've been on many of these cruises (solo & with clients), & get recognized quite a bit. I have been propositioned many times,but the deal has never (ahem) closed, except for one time.

The problem, as Kevin stated, is that once our tryst was over, it seemed as if the guy was EVERYWHERE I was...& I found myself ducking him for the rest of the cruise. (He kept wanting to talk about "the biz", other escorts & I just got a stalker-ish vibe).

MUCH BETTER to "bring him with you". & if you should happen to see an escort on a cruise ship, most likely he IS there with a client, or just on vacation trying to be a gay boy.

I hadn't considered the stalker aspects of being on ship, probably because it wouldn't occur to me to stalk someone. I can see how being ship could be problematic if someone has stalker tendencies though.

 

If you are on vacation on a gay cruise, how would you feel about a potential client descreetly approaching you? I view this differently from say approaching someone in Home Depot for example which I think would be inappropriate but I would appreciate the escort POV.

I have gone on a gay cruise with a client, till this day probably one of the best vacations ever!!! I don't think its the best place to go to find potential clients, for many reasons. One you are on a relatively small boat for an extended period of time, use your imagination to develop potential issues.
