Oh, Dupont is not really gay anymore. The gays moved to Adams Morgana & NoVA. If this is a client development trip, you may find most of the potential clients come from the Falls Church/Vienna/Alexandria areas.

Longtime resident of AM, lord knows the gays haven't moved here or I'd have found them by now. Our people migrated to Logan Circle/U Street area (due east of Dupont) once the straight people moved in.

Frequent flyer, but don't do in-calls my first meet with an escort, so I've seen a fair number of the usual places escorts tend to stay -- Rouge, Palomar, Washington Hilton, Omni Shoreham are all good choices. Less expensive but still perfectly fine -- Beacon, Washington Plaza, Holiday Inn and Doubletree both on Rhode Island Ave NW. I don't recommend the Normandy (crappy hotel) or the Donovon (really nice place, but a guy who hired off Craigslist was murdered there about a year ago. I think it still has some bad juju for this kind of meeting).

And, yes, out by Dulles or in Fairfax county are certain death to business.

Side note -- for me, NoVA is out unless it's close in and right near a Metro. (Except for Mr. Eisenhower). You might want to rely on Mike G and what other escorts might have to say about ratio of clients between DC and NoVa. From the guys I know, DC predominates.

Hurry up, damn it. We need you! But make sure it's while Congress is in sesssion. Prime time for bartenders, cab drivers and escorts!

Excellent post WhamIAm!!

These are great suggestions and most any working guy or client visiting DC should consider these as great options.

I live across the river in Arlington but it is more convenient for me to see a guy in downtown DC than parts of Northern Virginia. Crossing Key Bridge is quicker for me (most days) than getting to Crystal City.
