Threeway scene pricing question

I've been seeing a escort for about 18 months at least twice a month and more like every week most months. He has told me I am one of his best clients and he has made about 9000 from me (give or take 300). Now I hire...let's go with "Chris"...Chris to be my boy as I am into BDSM, especially humiliation. I've been shopping around to find another escort for a threeway where Chris is getting used by both of us. I don't think the details matter but yes it's going to be a heavier scene for Chris.

I have found the other escort and am in the process of setting up the scene. Let's call the other escort Matt. I need Matt to be another hard cock, and Chris is just going to service him in strictly vanilla ways. All the BDSM play is from me. This is all well and good and we are almost finalized in terms of play. There is just a snag vis-a-vis the rate.

I don't like to haggle and I let the escort completely call the shots on this. I have asked Chris several times what the rate is for a threeway. His rules are: two clients = base rate x 2, one client, two escorts = base rate. He figures his job is still only to make one person happy and as such it doesn't matter if there is a second escort. This makes sense to me.

Matt on the other hand charges like this: 2 clients = 2 x base rate, 1 client, 2 escorts = 1.5x base rate. Matt figures that even through I'm still the only one that has to be happy, it's still more stress because of the third person. Again this makes sense to me I don't think either rate set up makes "more sense."

The problem is Matt and Chris have the same base rate and given what they are being hired to do I feel like Chris is getting the short end of the deal as Matt is going to have an easier time AND make 50% more. I don't know if I should just tip Chris the extra 50% and then not tip Matt at all. Or I should ask them both to go to 1.25x base rate + a nice tip or what. thoughts?

First of all... You go boy! Talk about a man who knows what he wants. I am both glad my tastes are simple and envious of guys who are so exotic.

Personally, I would have two envelopes ready and Chris would have the tip in his. You are the one that knows what the scene is likely to entail and who is going to be deserving of that tip. Also, I think it's very cool that you are concerned about the basic fairness of the whole scene. It would be easy to say that it was Chris's policy therefore his loss.

I would say give a good tip to Chris and maybe no/a smaller one to Matt considering his rate is already more and he's doing less. Chris may also not mind that he's getting a little bit less since you are such a good/consistent client, and you will be seeing him again soon. It sounds like you are going to be fair either way you do it so just go with your gut. As long as you are fair to both and have a good time, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Have fun!

Without replying to the OP's specific situation...what I like to do is have a regular/favorite gentleman arrange for a 3rd. I offer him his regular attangement plus "X" for the services/visit of the third, and leave him to it. I get approval of the choice, and leave the contributions to my guy. Has worked very well for me most of the time, and I've met interesting new guests too.

No, the rates are between you and each of them.

+1 with a caveat. It sounds like Chris is your regular. I certainly wouldn't mention it until after the fact, but I'm loyal to my regular and want what's best for him. I know that I wouldn't be able to resist telling him later that this was the other guy's business practice because it might help him in the future to earn a little more. I don't do three ways so I'm not sure what is standard operating procedure, but I want my regular to have as much information as possible. Of course, this might backfire on you in the future if you are really into three ways. :)

@HobbesianAcademic , here is a different perspective. I've done a fair amount of 3ways+ and encountered this same equity issue. My MO: I don't go in with a strategy to be equitable and ensure all come away paid the same. Instead, I pay the stated rates and then tip according to their contributions during the scene. The better the performance by an individual, the bigger the tip. By the way, typically, my regulars have outperformed the guest stars. Why? They know me better and they are ensuring everyone is having a good time. That shouldn't go unnoticed or unrewarded. Somehow, it has worked out well and if I'm ever questioned, I can specifically point out performance differences.

Overall, you are getting a good deal. One of the escorts I hired a few years ago said he would want 2x the normal fee. He is working with 2 guys ... to him it didn't matter if the pairing was with 2 clients or with a client and another escort. Two guys, twice the work was his motto.

Wow, I've never thought to charge more for a 3-way. For me it's my time and it's irrelevant whether it's one guy, a couple, or the client and another escort. The only way that I charge more than my hourly is if a session is going to require extra preparation or clean-up/recovery. To each their own, however! I always try to insure that a couple is experienced and comfortable in a 3-way situation, nothing worse than jealousy and insecurities arising. I love a good 3-way session with couples whos' love and comfort is strong, I've gotten teary eyed on occasion from the immensity of compersion in the room.

I found it hard to understand how having two other people in the room doubled the effort an escort needed to make. I would have thought the others would each have had half the response from said escort. But I can understand that an escort would want to bill each client separately. Up to each escort to determine his own pricing structure, though!

Interesting feedback. As an escort, usually the client is asking me to set up a "DUO" scene with another escort and I work out the mutual rate before hand and propose it to the client. Typically my scenes involve bondage and I provide my gear that I travel with. However, I do not charge anymore for it and it ends up being an equal rate to both for the time. There have been a few different times where I was hired by the client, where the client booked the second escort or group of us. But, it was all discussed before the meeting and negotiated out. I know it was fair, and felt my compensation to be in complete order. My thinking usually is, it shouldn't cost more for two, meaning the standard hour rate for each escort or a blended rate for having two (usually less). Good luck in your scene, sounds hot!

I get why it would be more, a second escort is still a person who have to get to work for the client to be happy. You are also taking on STI risks with a second (as you do when ever there is more than one person involved). It really does depend on what the set-up is.

I'm with you on that one. I don't change my rate based on number of other folks involved - an hour of my time is an hour of my time, whether it's for just 1 person or 10.

That's interesting.

Would you guys charge the same hourly rate if there were ten men wanting to play with you? 40 men?

If it were strictly for time, then could servicing 300 people in an hour be expected?

Of course I am taking the argument to an extreme, but I am really curious to hear your opinions.

This is how I look at it: I'm offering my time and I charge a certain rate for that time. When one person hires me for an hour, they pay the rate and get one hour of my time and attention, all for them. If two people hire me for an hour, they pay the rate, and they SHARE the hour. They don't get the whole hour for themselves. Same thing would apply if 10 people or 40 people or 300 people hiring me for an hour.

I always have a conversation with folks when more than one person is looking to hire me. I make it clear that my rate doesn't change because I will divide my attention as equally as I can (and to the client's preference) and we negotiate the right amount of time to make sure everyone feels like they'll get what they want.

Just throwing this out there - if 300 of you want to get together and hire me for an hour, I'd be happy to take that on.

Wow! That's brilliant bc you turn the focus away from the rate and back on the experience and help the client realize that you are there for not just one client but all clients involved. If I were the receiving client of your logic for your rate explanation, it would help me reflect and gain insight into what I'm about to do. It also feels less like buyin a service or product, and more like attaining an experience. Still noodling on that, but that's my knee jerk reaction to your approach. Thank you for that perspective.

And by the way, if I'm hiring you, I want you all for myself

For me, I won't do a party of more than 2 clients, it's asking too much to spread my energy around that much. If a client wants to hire multiple guys, that doesn't bother me, but big groups just don't interest me, both on and off "the clock". Being with a couple, rather than a single guy doesn't require anymore energy from me, therefore I don't charge more. To each their own however.

I realize I'm not an escort, so my experience isn't directly relevant, but I charge the same hourly no matter how many people I interact with in the hour. Sometimes I show up to a client's location, and there are three engineers waiting to speak with me in an office. Sometimes, I met with a single person in my office. Sometimes I'm in a room at a conference table with ten people.

Eric and Lance, thank you for responding.

It is fascinating how it's almost as if we are all practising all an entirely different profession each one of us. Which makes it tricky when someone comes here asks "What's the norm when...."

Wishing you for more continued success and fulfillment.

Big hug to you both!

Big hug back at you, beautiful!

And you're spot on - the norm isn't a thing!
