Saw a new gay movie tonight that was kind of refreshing for a change. Some of the jokes were a little old but overall it was a pretty good story about coming out to your friends. It is showing in limited release and on VOD. The story is about a guy that come out on his 24th birthday to his best friends and how their relationship changes afterwards. It was a bit refreshing to see him being gay not the sole focus of the story line but much more how him finally being honest impacts their lives.

Starting:

Parker Young (from tv Suburgatory and Enlisted)

Evan Todd (Broadway actor of Heathers the musical fame)

Chord Overstreet (of glee fame wearing a hipster beard)

Holy smoke! It looks like they filmed it in my town and used my mechanic's garage! How did I not know about this? Looks good....definitely on my watch list (the NY Times gave it a pretty good review too)

was it filmed in upstate NY?
