Reviews are part of the equation, but if you peruse the board and see the posts of those who book, word of mouth actually may be more powerful than reviews. If you build a good reputation, then that will get around.

 

Side note---you might want to throw in some full body photos on the ad....and the private gallery, since you have to show potential bookers what they get for the rates.

Rentmen no longer allows written reviews. They are now using a starred system similar to M4RN.

 

I would ask the client to write a Daddy's Review, if the client feels comfortable doing so.

My number one advice is to be safe, we are men but that does not mean we are not entering into a possible dangerous lifestyle. Also make sure you are using protection and if not making sure you and your client are getting tested before you two (or more ) have fun.

 

 

I started by using Craiglist, Backpage, Rentboy, then finally Rentmen. I have had great success with Rentmen so I highly recommend it. The clients I get from CL and BP I have to say are not the best. They tend to be a little unprofessional, don’t get me wrong I have met some great guys from both platforms, but you will eliminate a lot of drama by advertising on a more professional platform. It takes time but once you build up a great clientele you will have your regulars and clients that come from word of mouth which is also great.

 

 

Another thing… PICTURES. Hire a good photographer to take some pictures. I have yet made time to do so, but I have noticed an increase of response when I have good pictures on my ads and website.

 

 

Screening is something I am still trying to figure out, many may say I am a little harsh when it comes to screening but I have to protect myself at the very end and make sure I am not meeting with a possible killer or cop. Most of my clients I can just run their number online and their info pops up. Of course I do not use it, I just like to verify who they say they are.
