Fellow Scorts - RM Memberships

Just a quick poll out to my fellow Scorts regarding RM membership packages. I get that you get what you pay for but is the gold membership package really worthy the extra $$$? I personally work at my first job during the weekdays and don't travel out unless it's a client flying me out for the weekend. I reside in Orlando but my travel cities are Tampa, Jacksonville and Daytona Beach which I get with the free membership. Since I really don't travel the country visiting clients at this point in time, is it really worth the extra money to get gold? Does it make a difference in booking more appointments? All Input Appreciated !

Well, unless you are looking to expand beyond Florida in terms of your prostate tickling, then "Gold" may not be an expense you need. As you said, you do have a day job, so escorting is either a part time gig for you or you do it as a bit of a hobby. You are not in the same business category as an Alec Andrews or Kurtis Wolfe or Ryan Rose (EWW...side note--can somebody create a "Vomiting" emoji?) in that escorting is a significant source of their personal income. My view is that "Gold" should only come into play IF you plan to expand your services beyond the state of Florida.

I agree with what Kur said. I also want to add that unless you are in a major city like LA or NYC I dont see much value in gold. I'm in a similar situation as I have a (two) day jobs for the next month or so, so me having gold right now just wouldn't make sense. I barely have time to sleep. I may go fold once I drop one of my day jobs and I have a ton more time available.

I've done regular and gold, and I'm not sure it matters. But the expense for gold is small enough that I think it's worth doing. If it nets you a few clients over the course of a year, it more than pays for itself.

 

For the record, you are hot enough that I would deign to click on your profile even if you were not gold :-)

Thanks for the input guys. That's pretty much what I surmised. Being in Orlando I hope to bring in most of the biz and pleasure travelers. It's a decent clientele volume.

I actually interchange between gold and "basic" (I hate that word, sounds like basic bitches) escort membership. There's pros and cons to both. If I do good one month with rentmen, I'll get gold the next month. If that gold ad sucks, I'll switch back to basic.

 

Clients will scroll thru the ads regardless, however...some clients believe escorts "earn" top placement or gold because they are hot. As if the site just discriminately bumps only the finest guys to gold tier levels. Please everyone, spread the word. We pay for those spaces...including rentmen of the day.

I personally feel Orlando's vibe better. More international and luxurious. Tampa, I haven't been in years...but the whole area is so ghetto/country...I think clients take their frustration out on ethnic escorts. Hence the reason there isn't much there, and why I will be very, very cautious about placing ads in that town again. An absolute headache when I tried to offer my services there while I was in Orlando. Never ended up making it there as there was enough going on in Orlando.

I wish! Gold is $80, at least for me/in my area. Don't know if RM does different rates based on location. I might still consider it if it gets me more at least one more client a month.

It's gone up since the RB raid, doesn't surprise me. I decided to become a sponsor a couple months ago, so I'm paying 4x what I used to.

Personally I like Orlando because it's where I hang my hat. You get a great mix of locals and pleasure / biz travelers both domestic and international. The thing is I have my local regulars but travelers tend not to be regs as they only travel once here but reg travelers love their musclebear Hudson Hawke

Ditto and +1 and thank you for saying this. When I first started hiring, I had a different take on premium escort designations. I naively thought Gold membership (and whatever the RB equivalent was) meant that at a minimum the guy was the guy in the pics, the pics were relatively recent, and the guy was a legitimate, responsible businessman. Learned the hard way that I was wrong.
