Planning My First "Business Trip"

Hey guys. I'm planning to head down to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area the last weekend of this month. This will be the first time I've done a "business trip" like this so I was wondering if anyone on here had any suggestions or recommendations to help me figure out what to do? Thanks in advance guys!

Thanks Greg! I think we already have a hotel in mind, one that we have stayed at before. We already have cheap flights and a cheap rental car booked. Now I just need to know how to maximize business while we are down there to turn a profit for the weekend.

Probably too late for this trip, but besides this site and rentmen, do you have a Twitter account? Most of the pornstar / escorts have one. They get to take advantage of the exposure that porn gives them to get followers, but there is no reason an escort couldn't use that as one more mode of advertising.

 

Upload some cute pictures, get a couple retweets by someone with a lot of followers, and you are on your way.

 

Don't know how it works, but rentmen also tweets out escorts availability and that must hit a pretty wide audience. Although I'm sure you are looking to get bookings ahead of time.

I have no idea how the escorts set it up but I regularly see tweets from one escort I follow (I follow 3 or 4 escorts on Twitter but only see tweets from one of them). I assume they have to set it up on Rentmen for it to work, and it looks like once they have done that, every time they post a travel city and date, and every time they activate 'available now' on Rentmen, the site tweets the information. (What I receive says 'I am available now for the next 6 hours on <Rentmen profile link> #Escort @RentMen_com'.) It appears to me, though, that you have to follow the escort on Twitter to see the tweets on your timeline.

 

There may be other ways to find the tweets when they are sent - having just looked at its feed, if you follow @RentMen_com on Twitter you should see all those tweets (might flood your timeline though, an alternative would be not to follow it but look up @RentMen_com when you're interested).

I've noticed that I'm getting a lot of exposure down in that area since I posted my travel plans. No one has called to book anything yet and I'm wondering if I need to worry about them thinking I am old news by the time I get down there...

If your expecting ft.lauderdale to be good, Like my boys have told me.. Its not a good area for escorting, miami isn't either.. You will end up, maybe a couple calls here and there.. but you wont make tons of profit.. go to dc or go to nyc for your business trip..

I have to agree with honestlittlefucker, I love the south florida area, born and raised south florida native, if you don't have a client base it may be difficult to make money with your costs of flight, hotel and food.

Texas is a great state to visit! I recommend Dallas or Houston ! & the statement "every thing is bigger in Texas", I found completely true.

As someone who does lots of travel I would tend to agree, Miami and Fort Lauderdale is a tough Market.

Thanks guys! We ended up postponing our trip to south Florida for the time being. We are thinking about heading to DC sometime in the next couple months and we will head down to Ft. Lauderdale later this year on vacation
