Hello, thanks for the reply, I only ask after the meeting and following an email telling me what a great time it was........I agree to a point but if we had reviews being complete we wouldn't need a forum asking for reviews of us, if someone is on the fence about anything in life they read reviews, take consumer reports for example. Some clients also think because you have no reviews you must not be worth it......this has been said to me by someone who contacted me, whom I know hires often.

All valid reasons.

Actually I think being known here on the Forum might be your biggest help. If any clients are more likely to write a review, it might be Forum contributors as many of them have already written reviews. So with being known here on the Forum, I'm sure a Forum Member out there is salivating to meet you. I wish I were still hiring and in Philly.

And may add that to be known you do not need a published review. Two of my last best hires were escorts with no reviews who were recommended to me by another forum member (Jehova, Yave, Allha, Zeus, Jesus, bless him)

Thanks Juan, I can't agree more with what you just posted....I will say whats remarkable to me is that I have been escorting for 10 plus years and the common trend to these replies are everyone thinks I am new......because the lack of presence here I suppose. Early on in the game I didn't worry about reviews, I never even thought about them, to be honest. The game has changed a lot and I feel as if although I don't need review to know I am good at what I do, it seems more and more new clients are asking for them. I NEVER push for a review and never typed one up and asked for it to be submitted, thats not me.

It's interesting that you say you've escorted for years. I'm not doubting you. But did you advertise more by word of mouth? Years ago I used to look at the Rentboy Philadelphia ads pretty regularly. And I would have thought I would have noticed anyone as handsome as you.

lol you know a client had a great time when he keeps calling and texting you. ;) The ones that love you always come back for more. Sometimes I feel they are being a little protective and want to keep you all to themselves by not submitting reviews.

Definitely, they had a first hand or two view and review!!!! I know the protective ones, they are my favorite, I like to be protected!!!

I'm certainly not making a judgement call. Actually I never had any idea how often guys hire. I think someone here said they hired 4 or 5 a month, I guess just comparing to me, that's a lot.

I know you're not judging... I was just curious. I think that was TrueReview who said he hires 4 or 5 guys a month. I was mightily impressed. I go through peaks and valleys. I can go many many months without hiring, but if I find someone I really like, I get it while the getting is good. :)

You nailed it, Keith! Times are changing! If you were one of the businesses I consult to, you would be a dream client. Why? bc you are asking questions instead of providing answers. My granny said it best: only fools believe they know the answer to everything.

So you want reviews? here are some questions to ponder:

  1. What type of client do you want to review you?
  2. What type of client is likely to write a positive review?
  3. If you know about a client who meets both 1 & 2 above, how do you land some sexy time with such client?
  4. After you delivered your best to that client, are you being crystal clear in what you are asking the client for?Example: "I'd love for you to review me."

By the way, the mere act of posting this thread will yield you a review or two. What you need is quality reviews that have gravitas and influencing power over the kind of client you want. Wishing you much continued success and keep asking questions, - TR

Don't be impressed, MikeyG. That just shows you how slutty or bored I am ;) Sigh

Thanks for the insight, and if I knew the answer to everything I would have the answers to the numbers that will be called for that power ball tomorrow night! :p

Excuse me for reiterating much of what has already been stated:

Some clients won’t write a review due to discretion.

- Not only IRT to the client but also some escorts don’t want a review “in the cloud” forever.

- Rentmen wanting client phone verification doesn’t help with the discretion concern.

Some clients won’t write a review because they don’t want to share their precious gems.

- Yes - that’s true.

Some clients won’t write a review because the the session was ok - but not noteworthy.

Some clients won’t write a review because the session was under expectations.

- This includes the “chemistry” category. No one necessarily at fault.

Some clients won’t write a review because of the attitude towards “1st Time Reviewers”.

- Kind of an “eating your young” Catch-22 situation.

Some clients won’t write a review because they are unaware there is such a process.

- It doesn’t hurt to ask if done appropriately. Keith30309 gave good advice on doing this.

BUT: Some clients won’t write a review based on an initial session.

- They want 2+ sessions - that are ALL worthy of a review before committing.

- So dcguy20 has a valid point with his “Tread lightly” comment.

As a client, the ultimate compliment I can give an escort is to hire him again.

Keith, come to LA and Ill write a review!

I have to admit I wrote my first 2 reviews just a couple weeks ago. I like others have said am a fairly private person. I really take the reviews with a grain of salt. They have become very bland and you really can't give too much detail so what is the review really telling you? Also the review is really that individual's perspective. This has been talked about at length on other threads. My definition of a great kisser is very different from what somebody else may think is good.

That said, after becoming more involved in this site, I realized I should post some reviews especially on guys that don't have any/many that I found to be good.

I won't write a bad review but if asked privately, I will give honest feedback about my experience. I will also give more detail on a private basis. My reviews have been really a confirmation of who they are, pics, stats etc, and if i had a good time.

As others have said I think being active and professional on here will probably get you more business than anything.

In general, I probably didn't solicit most of my reviews. That being said, I would recommend indirectly and politely soliciting. I don't think you are burning a bridge by asking clients with whom you have good rapport. Just don't become over-reviewed because then some people will become wary of hiring you :-).

It might also be a geographic thing as Juan alluded to. 90% of my philly clients haven't reviewed me.

Juan's post is spot on.

I would also directly ask some of the people with 75+ reviews what they did to get that many reviews.

I know plenty of people with good business and zero reviews on this site, so don't get discouraged by your number of reviews falling short of your goal.
