I have a cat and 2 dogs. I laughed heartily at a quote in PK's link. It went something like: if a dog jumps on your lap is bc he loves you; if a cat does it, it's bc your lap is warmer. That describes my cat purrfectly.

Dear lord, I am so sorry to hear that. I know that one day my baby girl will be gone, but you can take refuge knowing that you gave him the best life that you could, and that he passed on knowing that somebody loved him. Thanks for sharing...
