Lots of folks get off on the idea of hiring so they go through the entire process but never intend to show up. There are folks who also like to screw with other people because they have nothing better to do.

You may have had better luck than some others, and the fact that some escorts have set out on here what their strategies are for dealing with such people indicates that it is a thing. That said, it would not be the only thing that is vanishingly unlikely but of which many people are almost irrationally afraid. I recall seeing one of those cute graphics that pointed out that (I forget the period involved) zero UK police had been killed by terrorists but in the same time 6 US police had been shot by their dogs.

I have to say I am a pretty smart escort and I do not dig into the personal life of a client once I have his number, unless he provides me a valid reason to and even in that case I usually just move on. When one has been doing this long enough it becomes natural as to who is and isn't serious about meeting. I am also a bit taken back that some clients dig into escorts personal lives, I don't really see the point.........and now I am sure mine will be dug into because of this post!!!

Nock on wood, but maybe I am just lucky....I haven't done much if any investigating of clients and have never had an issue with any that actually met me, the issue is more those that play games and have you show up at random hotel rooms and address, not to be theirs. If someone is meeting with the intention of murdering or robbing you I am not sure what their Facebook, instagram, etc is going to tell you.

I have to agree, and I am now in my 11th year of escorting. I find more of an issue with the game players who have no intentions at all of meeting, and the no shows.

That's why I said "is likely to". Everyone has different methods and styles. For example, in the space of a few weeks we've seen posts about an escort who insists on screening via e-mail and allowing phone contact when he has ruled out clients he doesn't want to meet vs. one who insists that client inquiries should be via phone interaction. It's a matter of what works for you.

 

I've met escorts who have during the course of pillow talk filled me in on what they were able to learn about me from my cell phone number, so I know that some guys are doing some research. An escort came through town recently, and I was able to discover a frightening criminal record by accessing his social media identity and his name through his phone number and Kik account name. On the fun side, I've also met escorts who turned out to be brothers.
