Sometimes a front-page-featured RM companion catches my eye and I take a look at their profile simply out of curiosity, even if they are in a city I'm unlikely to visit.

Other times I have to refresh my memory about someone I've seen before and not contacted for some reason.

Like everyone else, I get the "Hi-You saw my pics" emails and happily respond with compliments, suggestions for new guys, or simple pleasantries.

I had a 2-hr meeting with one guy who has a large photo library online on his profile and a huge collection (over a thousand well-done professional pics) offline, which he rotates.

He was hyper-sensitive about viewers of his pics not contacting him and pretty steamed about people using it for "free porn". In idle chit-chat I suggested that he might not want to lose too much sleep over this because of the massive amount of free porn available but he still felt as if he were being taken advantage of.

Seriously? He was pissed that someone was looking at his ad multiple times? Most advertisers would be thrilled that their ad was getting traction since it will more likely lead to a sale, or in this case, a hire. And doesn't he realize that constantly changing his pics is an invitation for guys to keep looking at his ad to see what's new. This guy needs to relax and get a clue.

I alsohave a few multiple views from a single guy, one in particular has viewed my profile 6 times in less than a week. I sent him a message around the 3rd or 4th view letting him know I'd be happy to answer any questions he has, but he said he was just curious about me being FTM and was a bottom anyway. He's come back several times since, so he must be quite curious.

I wouldn't mind a couple or even 3 views from one guy, as that might just be him forgetting that he viewed me before. But 6 views even after he's made it known he's not interested in hiring me is a bit weird. I only have 1 picture that gives away I'm trans and the rest of my profile isn't particularly interesting.

Seriously.

He was quite concerned about all the views that didn't result in contacts. I tried to explain the analogy of someone seeing a Coke ad on television - they might not buy a Coke today but there is an impression left that might make it more likely for them to buy one tomorrow. That didn't really sink in but there was allot going on - probably the most unusual encounter I've ever had in hiring.

I will say that his portfolio of photos was outstanding... he had over a thousand very good, professional pictures of all sorts. I guessed that he had spent a good bit of money on them and was a little frustrated.
